You will design, build, and champion the quality capabilities that empower our teams to ship with confidence at scale.\nYou will write and review production-quality code, contribute to technical design discussions, and raise quality and reliability risks before they become problems. You will work across engineering teams, building automation frameworks, performance and integration testing capabilities, and tooling that the whole organization depends on. Initially starting in our Salesforce development team, you will work across different engineering teams, building broad technical and domain knowledge across the platform.\nYou will report to the Software Quality Manager. Engineering squads at RideCo own the quality of what they build. Your job is to make that ownership easier, more reliable, and better instrumented.\nYour day-to-day responsibilities will include:\nChampion quality across components and interfaces; ensuring correctness, accessibility, usability, security, and scalability are built in\nDesign and build test automation frameworks and quality tooling used across the engineering organization\nDevelop automated functional, integration, performance, and stress tests, including large-scale simulations based on real-world and generated data\nContribute to technical designs and reviews to identify quality and reliability risks early\nParticipate in code reviews, assessing changes for testability, correctness, and quality risk\nPartner with engineers, product owners, project stakeholders, and other RideCo staff to define acceptance criteria, identify edge cases, and assess risks\nInvestigate production issues, identify root causes, and translate findings into automation and improved test coverage\nContribute to test strategy, test reporting, and other documentation\nOther duties/projects as assigned\nYour tech stack & growth opportunities:\nYou won't be expected to know all of these on day one.
