This position involves active participation in the Q&PC Integrated Support Team (IST) to provide process and quality control guidance, technical support, and coordination with the sites three Integrated Process Teams.\nEssential Functions:\nProcess & Quality Control (50%):\nDirectly supervise IPT Quality Engineers, Lab Technicians, and Final Inspectors.\nPlan and direct activities related to the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for processes, materials, and products.\nOversee the establishment and implementation of product parameters and control methods for material/product acceptance.\nDevelop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.\nLead focus teams and special projects to resolve systemic rejects, determine root cause, and correct key quality issues.\nQuality Management System (20%):\nEnsure site-wide ISO9000 compliance and certification.\nDirect the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the facilitys Quality System in line with WCM PQC Pillar Steps and requirements.\nOversee Document Control, review/approval of controlled documents, and Supplier Quality Management.\nImplement Quality Risk Management in relevant aspects of the QMS Internal audit program.\nWCM (20%):\nContribute as a member of the WCM Pillar for Quality and Process Control (QPC).\nProvide leadership and training to IST/IPTs using WCM Focused Improvement toolbox for continuous improvement.\nActively participate and lead CI/WCM/6 Sigma projects and events throughout the site.\nEnvironmental, Health & Safety (10%):\nBe a behavioral role model for all EHS standards, 5S & workplace organization practices, plant rules, safety regulations, and corporate Values and Attitudes.\nPartner with leaders to improve EHS culture, awareness, and accountability systems.\nEntity Specific Functions:\nEntity: Quality & Process Control Integrated Support Team (IST)\nDirectly supervises IPT Quality Engineers/Technicians, Document Control Clerk, Final Inspectors, and Assemblers.\nQualifications:\nBachelors degree in Engineering or Technical/Science discipline.\nAdvanced degree in Quality or Ceramic Engineering, preferred.\nWork Experience:\nMinimum 3 years of practical Quality department experience within a manufacturing environment.\nExperience in change management, leading audits, and implementing quality management systems.\nStrong knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and relevant industry standard practices.\nLeadership:\nDedicated, self-starter with a high degree of motivation, able to make independent decisions.\nAbility to lead teams, incorporate input from all team members, and mold divergent opinions into one common direction.\nCommunicating and Influencing Skills:\nAbility to present complex ideas simply and clearly to all organizational levels.\nDemonstrable personal attributes to effectively communicate and influence all levels of the organization.\nProblem Solving:\nLead quality and improvement activities using WCM Focused Improvement Tools and Kaizen methodologies.\nUtilize effective coaching techniques to develop a culture of employee engagement.\nLicenses and Certifications:\nASQ-CQE certification, preferred.\nCertified Green Belt or Black Belt and/or other advanced technical problem-solving, preferred.\nTravel Requirements:\nMinimal travel for corporate-sponsored meetings, training/seminars, and customer visits.\nValid Driver's License,
