You will lead the full team, hold people accountable, keep inventory accurate, protect compliance, and build the kind of customer experience that brings Springfield back through the door.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role in a family-owned business with real structure behind it: documented procedures, clear standards, and an owner who is close to the work. If you want to run a store, develop a team, and grow a cannabis career, this is a strong seat.\nWhat You'll Own\nStore leadership\nLead daily operations, including opening and closing standards\nSupervise and direct the retail team, including Team Leads\nInterview, hire, train and develop hourly staff\nConduct 30, 60 and 90-day reviews for every employee\nBuild and manage schedules and shift coverage\nEmployee accountability\nCoach employees directly and document performance concerns\nIssue verbal, written and final warnings and follow through on them\nManage attendance and conduct issues consistently\nMake recommendations on discipline, termination and advancement\nHold longer-tenured employees to the same standard as new hires\nInventory and compliance\nOversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts and audits\nInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies\nMaintain compliance with Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission regulations\nSupport CCC inspections, audits and documentation\nOversee security procedures and incident reporting\nFinancial and business performance\nManage cash handling procedures, reconciliation and daily deposits\nTrack monthly results and trends for business forecasting\nOwn store KPIs and use them to improve performance\nMaintain accurate financial records and operational reporting\nCustomer and product\nResolve escalated customer complaints\nMaintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store, plus industry trends\nPartner with the team on product education and responsible use\nWork with the company's COO on marketing, promotions and operational reporting\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired\nMust be 21 years or older\nMust pass all state-required background checks and CCC badging\nExperience managing a retail location or serving as a strong second-in-command with real ownership\nDemonstrated, hands-on employee accountability experience. You should be able to walk us through a real performance situation from first conversation through documentation to outcome\nExperience in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment\nStrong written and verbal communication\nComfort adopting new software and evolving technology\nStrongly preferred\nCannabis retail management experience\nHands-on METRC experience\nDutchie POS and Dutchie Backoffice experience\nDirect experience with Massachusetts cannabis regulations and CCC requirements\nExperience in another highly regulated retail environment (pharmacy, liquor, OSHA-regulated operations)\nBachelor's degree, preferred but not required\nHow You Work\n6 Brick's operates on continuous improvement, which means standards can change as regulations and operations evolve.
