You will open and close the store, lead and coach Budtenders, keep transactions and inventory accurate, and keep the shift moving when it gets busy.\nThe job is both front of house and back of house. Some of your day is with customers and on the register. The rest is coaching, performance tracking, product and terpene education, inventory support, compliance, and the administrative work that keeps a dispensary running clean.\nIf you are ready to step into real leadership in cannabis and grow toward Retail Manager, Inventory Manager or General Manager, this is a seat with a path.\nWhat You'll Do\nShift leadership\nOpen and close the dispensary and run day-to-day floor operations\nLead the store in the absence of senior management\nManage shift coverage and respond to callouts\nTrain and onboard new team members\nMake sound decisions under pressure and keep the team calm when it is busy\nCoaching and accountability\nOversee Budtender performance and monitor customer interactions\nCoach employees directly and provide input for performance evaluations\nTrack write-ups related to uniform, performance and attendance\nReinforce accountability, professionalism and adherence to policy\nSupport employee development and product knowledge, including terpenes and cannabinoids\nOperations, cash and compliance\nManage cash handling, register reconciliation, safe counts and daily financial reporting\nProcess returns and exchanges accurately\nSupport inventory accuracy, receiving and cycle counts\nFollow bag-to-screen and scanning procedures precisely\nMaintain compliance with Massachusetts CCC regulations and company SOPs\nHandle customer complaints and escalations professionally\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired\nMust be 21 years of age or older\nMust pass all state-required background checks and CCC badging\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs\nHigh school diploma or GED\nPrevious experience as a Team Lead, Shift Lead, Supervisor or similar leadership role\nAvailability for closing shifts, weekends and holidays. Our busiest days include 4/20, Green Wednesday and Black Friday\nStrong math skills for cash handling and reconciliation\nExcellent communication skills and attention to detail\nStrongly preferred\nCannabis industry experience\nHands-on METRC experience\nDutchie POS experience\n1 to 3 years of retail supervisory experience\nWorking knowledge of state and local regulatory guidance, with the ability to interface with the CCC if needed\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new software\nHow You Work\n6 Brick's operates on continuous improvement, which means standards can change as regulations and operations evolve.
