Ideally, you possess technical skills in industrial automation and systems integration, as well as a background in business, management, budgeting and analysis.\nJob Summary\nEnsure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget\nCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects\nDevelop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility\nDevelop detailed project plans, track progress and present this documentation to client and team groups\nUse appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs\nMeasure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques\nReport and escalate to management as needed\nManage relationships with clients and all stakeholders\nCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation\nDevelop and maintain systems to promote efficiencies and strive for continuous improvement\nRemain current with applicable standards, codes and rules as they relate to the work being done\nPurchase hardware and materials for projects in accordance with RidgeTech Policies\nTravel both locally and internationally to support clients as required (although not always regular, the potential for travel does exist)\nSupport clients (some after-hours and weekend support may be required)\nSupport account managers and sales staff at technical reviews and client presentations\nMaintain a constant lookout for potential projects and work for RidgeTech\nParticipate in sales planning meetings and coordinate resource requirements\nMaintain and develop technical and professional knowledge by attending training courses, supplier information sessions, webinars, etc. to remain current on the latest industry practices and technologies\nUtilize non-chargeable time in an efficient and productive manner\nFocus on team building and strengthening relationships with clients, OEMs, fabricators and contractors\nUphold RidgeTech Automation Company Policies as outlined in the Team Member Handbook\nJob Qualifications and Skills\nDegree/diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Robotics & Automation, or similar education is required (Business degree/diploma and/or PMP certification would be considered an asset)\n5+ years of experience specific to the Controls and Industrial Automation industry (i.e. PLC & HMI programming, electrical/controls design, commissioning & start-up)\nPrevious experience in an industrial environment within a project management capacity\nPositive attitude and ability to communicate well with both clients and team members\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Project\nAbility to manage multiple priorities within changing timelines\nStrong troubleshooting skills\nSound mechanical and electrical aptitudes\nAbility to work with a multitude of third parties and vendors\nAbility to work both independently and in a team environment while coordinating effectively with other groups\nAbility to coach team members including sharing feedback and direction on their development and training\nAdditional Requirements\nHold and maintain a valid Class G drivers license and have a reliable and dependable personal vehicle\nHold and maintain a valid Passport with an ability to travel freely abroad without restrictions\nMaintain and apply current Health & Safety training as required for each worksite\nRidgeTech Team Members Enjoy\nCompetitive hourly pay rate based on experience level\nVariety in work opportunities (industries, platforms, types of projects)\nGroup health & dental plan\nVacation time & personal days (which grow with years of service)\nProfit sharing\nRRSP match program\nWellness & safety accounts\nPaid training opportunities\nTravel rewards\nCell phone allowance\nProfessional growth opportunities & mentorship\nSocial events & giveaways\nRecruiting referral bonus\nWorking Conditions\nThis is a full-time position at 40-44 hours per week;
