In this highly visible role, you will drive category strategies, establish global supplier frameworks and act as a trusted commercial partner to stakeholders across the business.\nYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES\nYou develop and execute global category strategies for professional services, including consulting, recruitment, IT services, software development partners, engineering services and freelancers.\nYou lead strategic sourcing initiatives, tenders and commercial negotiations, including framework agreements, service level agreements, rate cards and contractual terms.\nYou partner with internal stakeholders to define, challenge and optimize service requirements, scopes of work, deliverables, pricing models and measurable performance criteria.\nYou establish and manage qualified supplier pools and preferred partner models while driving supplier performance, reliability and continuous improvement.\nYou develop procurement standards, governance processes and contract templates with a strong focus on intellectual property protection, compliance, liability management and commercial risk mitigation.\nYou support commercial project management throughout the full service lifecycle, including budget monitoring, scope adjustments, change management, cost tracking and supplier performance reviews.\nYou monitor category performance, identify savings and cost avoidance opportunities and provide regular KPI reporting to Procurement leadership.\nTHAT'S YOU\nUniversity degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Economics or a comparable field\nSeveral years of experience in strategic procurement, category management or commercial management of professional services\nProven track record in sourcing and negotiating consulting services, IT services, software development, engineering services, freelancers or similar service categories\nExperience working in cross-functional project environments with strong stakeholder and supplier management capabilities\nStrong analytical, negotiation and communication skills combined with a structured and proactive working style\nCollaborative and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships across different functions and organizational levels\nFluent German and English skills\nExperience with SAP, Coupa or comparable procurement systems is desirable\nWE OFFER\nMore than just a salary - your plus at RIEDEL\nLook forward to 30 days of vacation and many additional offers - from JobRad to exclusive employee discounts, corporate benefits and our company pension scheme.
