Rightmove is a Milton Keynes company founded in 2000 that operates the dominant property portal in the United Kingdom. Estate agents pay to list homes on a site that receives the great majority of British property search traffic. The company is a member of the FTSE 100 and runs data and valuation products alongside its listings.

Our vision is to give everyone the belief they can make their move. We aim to make moving simpler, by giving everyone the best place to turn to and return to for access to the tools, expertise, trust, and belief to make it happen.

We’re home to the UK’s largest choice of properties and are the go-to destination for millions of people planning their next move, reading the latest industry news, or just browsing what’s on the market.

We’re looking for a B2B marketing all-rounder, with a particular love of product marketing.

"Join a fast-paced, collaborative marketing team where you'll lead high-impact campaigns, influence strategic priorities, and help drive the success of some of Rightmove's biggest growth opportunities for our partners." - Colleen, Hiring Manager

We're a B2B specialist team within the wider marketing team. We focus on a wide range of partners, including Estate and Lettings Agents, New Homes Developers, Commercial Property Agents, Overseas Agents and more. Our partners shouldn’t be confused with our buyers, tenants and sellers who we call consumers.

The work is varied and offers the opportunity to join our close-knit and hard-working marketing team.

This role supports key strategic growth areas across our Partner Marketing team. You'll work closely with product development and sales teams to go to market with new products, services and initiatives that help our partners get more from their Rightmove membership. You'll play an important role in shaping and delivering marketing activity that drives engagement, adoption, retention and commercial growth across multiple audiences and propositions.

What you'll do

  • Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to help set and execute the marketing strategy across key partner audiences, products and strategic business initiatives.
  • Collaborating with our sales, product and commercial teams to deeply understand our partners’ needs. You’ll use that insight to build highly targeted product marketing plans including value propositions and positioning.  Then, create, plan and execute pilot programmes seeing them through to Go to Market roll-out and retention plans - you’re a thinker and do-er.
  • Developing compelling campaigns and communications that help partners understand, engage with and get maximum value from Rightmove's products, tools and services.
  • Working with research and analytics teams to create and deliver your Go To Market plans. Insights will also play a role in delivering regular data and insights to our Account Managers and CX teams, as well as directly to our partners through various channels ranging from email to slide decks.
  • Monitoring and analysing campaign performance, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to achieve optimal results. You'll also track performance against both personal and team KPIs.
  • Working with our CRM Team to create, plan, brief and QA ad-hoc and automated journeys across the customer lifecycle to help our partners make the best of all the benefits of Rightmove.
  • Working with teams across marketing including our Creative Studio, research and insights, social, PR, consumer marketing, CRM and events to deliver on your plans, including planning across key platforms to optimise the partner experience, engagement and retention.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and act as a trusted marketing partner for the areas you support.

What a Marketing Manager in the B2B team thrives on:

  • Owning multiple projects at one time, delivering in a fast-moving agile environment.
  • Planning a project from end to end without breaking a sweat, easily dividing big goals into small steps, hitting deadlines, and driving commercial results.
  • Insight-driven, questioning and budget-conscious, with an ability to meld all three together to deliver against objectives;
    • Asking questions to uncover the true objective of projects to identify and deliver the right solution.
    • Combining the creative with the analytical - digging deep into data and research insights to tell compelling stories about products, packages and the property market (and even things that don’t start with the letter p.)
  • Working with people at all levels and across all teams - including Account Management, Product, Tech and our senior leadership team.
  • Being a communications expert.  You use simple language and brief messaging that shows you’ve gotten to know what matters to our partners and compels them to act. Strong writing skills are a must.
  • Experimenting with AI and actively using it to make your work more efficient and effective.
  • Demonstrating the impact you’ve made by measuring results and reporting on the key metrics for your campaigns. You’ll know what success looks like before you even start.
  • Managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Developing a strong understanding of our industry, partners, and competitors. Even if you’ve not worked in the property space before, you can’t wait to get stuck in.
