These platforms are the home of some of our most engaged consumers and will play a crucial role as we develop the leading digital ecosystem for the whole moving experience. \nJoining the Move & Hometeam in Rightmove, you’llmake this mission possible by making it easier for consumers to managetheir moveand home. \nThe Product Development team at Rightmove plays a pivotal role in delivering the overall consumer and customer digitalexperience underpinning the Rightmove business. We recognise that to deliver the best products and features for ourcustomers and consumers we need to work together effectively as a healthy, high performing team. We workcollaboratively across a mix of product and centralised teams, together working towards Rightmove’s strategy.The Product Manager role reports into a Senior Product Manager in our Consumer Domain, responsible for our Move &Home pillars. \nA typical week as a Product Manager might involve: \nLead and shape the roadmap, defineand track key KPIs. \nProactively contribute to initiatives that aim to improve our customer or consumer experience, both identifyingyourown contribution and supporting others in theirs. \nInitiateand/or undertake any analysis to highlight any impacts to systems or business processes. \nTake an active role in the experience discovery of initiatives and products, working closely with Product Designers andResearchers to define the approach. \n Collaborateswith Design to optimise existing experiences, as well as creating new ones. \nSpends time understanding what motivates our customers and ensuring they are up to date with industry insights\n Generates unique ideas, is resourceful in identifyingopportunities, and encourages innovation within the team\nWorks with Engineers and Delivery to understand technology limitations, recommendationsanddevelopment options. \nAccountable for requirements definition and delivery of solutions across your product/initiatives. \nMaintainsa backlog of improvements for your area, clearly describing how they support our overall business goals andwork with the Senior Product Manager & Head of Product to prioritise these alongside the wider priorities for the domainand product function\nWork with Senior Product Manager & the Head of Product to help shape the strategic direction, vision and objectivesforMove & Homebased on clear rational, analysis and insights\nWe are looking for someone who: \nCan lead product discovery, culminating in clear recommendations and, where relevant, the best approaches for Delivery. \nHas experience delivering successful end-to-end delivery of software products in a technology-led company.\nTakes responsibility for a product and delivers it with an autonomous delivery team. \nMakes data-informed decisions, leveragingquantitative and qualitative insights.\nIs passionate about delivering quality experience and software to end users\nHas excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to multitask and make tough calls.\nEffectively manages relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment on product goals,and collaboration throughout the product lifecycle.\nSets and measures clear, realistic,and timelygoals.\nBuilds a deep understanding of how an organisation is run, both commercially and operationally\nActively encourages contributions from all those around them, recognising the value of team members' input whensolving problems. \n Thinks long-termand will drive the vision for the product their team is working on.\nHas found the agile philosophy to be secondnature.\nComfortable describing the technical implementation of their product\nDesires to learn and improve themselves and the processes within the team. \nIs equally comfortable and engaged negotiating the roadmap with product leaders, presenting to senior leaders, ordiscussing implementation with our engineers.\nLife at Rightmove\nDespite our growth, we’ve remained a friendly, supportive place to work, with employee #1 still working here!
