We recognise that to deliver the best products and features for our customers and consumers we need to work together effectively as a healthy, high performing team. We work collaboratively across a mix of product and centralised teams, together working towards Rightmove's strategy. \nJoining the Agent Select Platforms team, you’ll be a key part of building the foundations that power how agent choice works across Rightmove. Agent Select is a new strategic initiative, and your team owns the core capabilities, data, and third-party integrations that every agent-facing and consumer-facing experience is built on. You’ll work closely with the Agent Select Experience team as well as other teams across the business to make sure the platform is reliable, well-governed, and ready to scale as the programme grows. \nA Typical Week as a Product Manager Might Involve : \nWorking with the Senior Product Manager and Head of Product to help shape the strategic direction, vision and objectives for Agent Select Platforms, based on clear rationale, analysis and insights \nOwning the roadmap for the core platform that underpins agent selection features across Rightmove, balancing the needs of multiple internal teams who build on top of it \nMaintaining a backlog of platform improvements, clearly describing how they support our overall business goals, and working with the Senior Product Manager and Head of Product to prioritise these alongside wider domain and product function priorities \nLeading the integration of third-party providers that strengthen the integrity and reliability of the platform \nDefining and monitoring platform health, SLAs and operational performance with third-party partners \nWorking closely with engineers and technical architects to understand technology limitations, trade-offs and development options for a platform that other teams rely on \nCollaborating with the Agent Select Experience team and other domain teams to understand their needs and translate them into platform requirements \nBeing accountable for requirements definition and delivery of solutions across Rep Core, Back Office, and third-party integrations \nWe are looking for someone who: \nCan lead product discovery, including for platform and infrastructure-style problems \nHas experience delivering successful end-to-end delivery of software products in a technology-led company \nHas experience managing third-party vendor relationships \nMaintains a strong commercial and strategic approach to product management \nTakes responsibility for a product and delivers it with an autonomous delivery team \nMakes data-driven decisions \nIs passionate about delivering quality software to end users, including internal teams who build on the platform \nHas excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask across platform reliability, vendor management, and roadmap delivery \nSets and measures clear, realistic and timely goals \nBuilds a deep understanding of how an organisation is run, both commercially and operationally \nActively encourages contributions from all those around them, recognising the value of team members' input when solving problems \nThinks long term, and will drive the vision for the platform their team is responsible for \nHas found the agile philosophy to be second nature \nIs comfortable describing the technical implementation of their product, including data models, APIs and contracts \nHas a constant need to learn and improve themselves and the processes within the team \nIs equally comfortable and engaged in negotiating the roadmap with the Head of Product, discussing implementation with engineers, or negotiating terms with a third-party suppliers \nLife at Rightmove\nDespite our growth, we’ve remained a friendly, supportive place to work, with employee #1 still working here!
