You will support the development and execution of analytics, provide data-driven strategic insights, and create customized analytic approaches in a care navigation setting. This role supports Rightway’s management, operations, and other internal departments by developing and delivering complex analytical needs, including quarterly performance reviews and ad hoc client inquiries. Additionally, as a Data Analyst III, you will guide standards and implement coding and technical best practices in the analytics eco-system.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nDevelop operational analytics leveraging eligibility, medical claims, and member interaction data to surface trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across care navigation, enabling teams to optimize service delivery and member outcomes.\nIntegrate and blend data from disparate source systems including NIC, claims, Typeform, and Salesforce to build unified, reliable reporting datasets that support both operational and client-facing needs.\nSupport lightweight data engineering initiatives, including DAG development, automated file ingestion, and report delivery controls, to ensure timely and accurate distribution of partnership and client reporting.\nUse business intelligence and data visualization tools to deliver compelling data storytelling for internal stakeholders and external clients, evaluating the effectiveness of clinical management programs and establishing recurring measures of program efficacy.\nWork cross-functionally with teams to provide actionable insights and refine and develop data processes for scalability.\nProvide ad hoc and strategic analysis to support care management and population health program performance evaluation and optimization.\nParticipate in the development of analytic frameworks and methodologies to support strategic initiatives.\nWork with the team to identify and qualify AI opportunities, understand key technical challenges and recommend strategies to operationalize solutions.\nWHO YOU ARE:\nBachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.\nExpert level of proficiency with SQL and relational databases/database structures.\nProficiency with scripting programming languages (python)\nProven experience with version control.\nUnderstanding of SQL/python based data transformation and documentation platforms like DBT.\nStrong BI skills with experience in Tableau, Metabase or similar visualization tools.\nExperience working with data and analytics services within cloud platforms (preferably AWS).\nStrong understanding of medical claims data, including reviewing claims for accuracy to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in care navigation.\n5-8 years of experience in quantitative analytics and conducting advanced analytic modeling for large datasets in the healthcare space.\nExperience gathering and documenting requirements from clients or the business.\nAbility to communicate analysis to business partners and clients both in writing and verbally.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nUnderstanding of responsible AI practice.\nExperienced with developing memos, and presentations to deliver data and insights to stakeholders and the executive team.\nProven ability to guide standards and provide leadership and mentorship to junior team\nEXTRA CREDIT:\nFamiliarity with healthcare data regulations (HIPAA) and best practices.\nExperience in data orchestration tools like Airflow..\nUnderstanding of machine learning and data science concepts.\nUnderstanding of the PBM industry and pharmacy claims is a plus.\nCOMPENSATION: $92,000 - $135,000 annually, in addition to bonus and equity\nCompensation offered will be determined by geographic location, experience, and qualifications.\nCYBERSECURITY AWARENESS NOTICE\nIn response to ongoing and industry-wide fraudulent recruitment activities (i.e., job scams), Rightway wants to inform potential candidates that we will only contact them from the @rightwayhealthcare.com email domain.
