This is a founding role to build it.\nYou'll own the physical space, the daily experience of being in the office, and the systems that get new people productive from day one.\nToday this work is scattered and manual. Your job is to turn office and workplace operations into a system that runs itself - so a team of builders working ~60 hours a week in person never has to think about whether the space, the food, the supplies, or the onboarding \"just works.\"\nIt does, because you built it that way.\nWe're looking for someone who reaches for AI and automation before the manual grind, treats logistics as a system to engineer, and takes extreme ownership of a space and a team's daily experience.\nYou'll sit on our BizOps team and work across HR, finance, engineering, and leadership, the connective tissue that keeps everyone moving fast.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn day-to-day office operations end-to-end.\n\nManage vendor relationships - food & beverage, cleaning, facilities, building management and hold them accountable to timelines and quality\n\nKeep the office stocked: order and restock supplies, snacks, drinks, and equipment before anyone notices they're low\n\nPlan and run internal events, team offsites, celebrations, and the moments that build culture in a high-intensity in-office team\n\nOwn office-related budgets, expenses, and reconciliations, and find ways to spend smarter as we scale\n\nBuild the systems, checklists, and automations that make all of the above continuous instead of a scramble\n\nBe the go-to person for anything space-, supply-, or experience-related, and the first line for keeping the office a place people want to be\n\nWho You Are\nA customer obsessive. You’re always looking to prioritize your time and resources for maximum efficiency.\n\nWhat We Require\n1-2 years in office management, workplace experience, administrative operations, or a similar role - startup or high-growth experience strongly preferred\n\nA track record of owning a space or program end to end with minimal oversight\n\nGenuine fluency with AI tools, and a bias for using them to automate real work\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication across every level of the org\n\nStrong organization and judgment, with comfort shipping in ambiguity and driving clarity\n\nWillingness to be in the NYC office full time - this role lives in the space it runs\n\nNice to Have\nExperience standing up office or workplace systems for a growing team from scratch\n\nExperience owning onboarding/offboarding logistics or IT/device coordination\n\nExperience managing vendors and office budgets\n\nPrior experience owning all of this is a plus, not a hard requirement.
