You’ll play a critical role in shaping a product that meets the complex needs of finance professionals. Your background in accounting will help bridge the gap between users, engineers, and designers. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to translate complex workflows and compliance requirements into intuitive product features that solve real-world problems.\nWe’re looking for teammates who are based near our New York City or San Francisco offices, or open to relocating. Our hybrid schedule brings the team together in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one additional flexible day each week. Some roles may spend more time in the office depending on the needs of the team.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAct as the subject matter expert on technical accounting topics\n\nTranslate complex accounting workflows and compliance needs into product requirements and specs.\n\nDefine, prioritize, and execute features that align with customer needs and business goals.\n\nPartner closely with engineers and designers to deliver accurate, intuitive solutions.\n\nGather feedback from customers, internal stakeholders, and the market to inform product development.\n\nCreate product documentation, release notes, and training materials.\n\nSupport QA and user acceptance testing for finance-related features.\n\nWho We're Looking For\n5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or accounting operations experience.\n\n2+ years of experience owning accounting processes, with a track record of creating operational efficiencies through use of AI and other new technology.\n\nProven experience in accounting and finance and working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Sage, or Oracle.\n\nStrong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.\n\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.\n\nThrive in fast-paced, startup environments, with a sharp eye for detail and process improvement.\n\nExperience with SaaS revenue recognition and ASC 606 is a strong plus.\n\nThe expected base salary range for this role is $150,000-$220,000 in New York City and San Francisco. Final compensation within this range will depend on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and the scope of the role.
