We need to expand our already industry-leading team, find the best people, and lead the charge.\nResponsibilities\nPerform dimensional inspection of automotive components using 3D scanning systems and related metrology equipment.\nExecute 3D scanning activities for prototype, production and supplier parts.\nCompare scanned data against CAD models and engineering requirements.\nAnalyze scan results and generate dimensional inspection and deviation reports.\nCreate and maintain inspection programs for 3D scanning equipment.\nEvaluate dimensional conformity of components according to technical drawings, GD&T requirements and customer specifications.\nSupport root cause investigations related to dimensional and geometric non-conformities.\nCollaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and Supplier Quality teams to resolve product issues.\nMaintain accurate inspection records and measurement reports within the quality management system.\nEnsure proper calibration, maintenance and handling of scanning and metrology equipment.\nSupport continuous improvement activities related to inspection methods, measurement accuracy and process efficiency.\nFollow all safety, quality and environmental standards.\nAuthority to stop inspection activities when equipment malfunction, safety concerns or product quality risks are identified.\nRequirements\nSecondary school degree (SSS) in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, CNC Technology, Automotive Technology or similar) or higher professional education (VŠS) in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.\nProven experience in industrial 3D scanning and dimensional inspection.\nExperience working with optical scanning systems, structured light scanners, laser scanners or similar metrology equipment.\nAbility to interpret technical drawings, CAD models and engineering specifications.\nStrong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).\nExperience analyzing scan data and evaluating dimensional deviations.\nGood spatial awareness and ability to visualize complex components in 3D.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and technical reporting.\nGood command of English language for technical documentation and communication.\nHigh attention to detail and analytical mindset.\nNice to have\nExperience with ZEISS ScanBox, Creaform, or similar 3D metrology systems.\nExperience in the automotive industry, especially with precision-machined components and assemblies.\nKnowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software.\nExperience with reverse engineering and CAD-to-part comparison.\nUnderstanding of quality standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and automotive core tools.\nExperience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).\nKnowledge of Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gauge R&R.\nWhat we are like and what we offer\nWorking on exciting projects in a high-performance environment pushing the limits, moving science forward while working with the global automotive manufacturers on developing the latest automotive technology.\nFlexible working hours - align with your manager and work on your own schedule.\nEducational budget and internal education programs - at Rimac, we believe in the importance of continuous learning.
