We grow together, pioneer solutions, and deliver vehicles that set new standards.\nGetinthedriver'sseat\nAs a Battery Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the mechanical design of HV Battery structural components, modules and cell integration across Bugatti Rimac programs\nWorking across Battery Engineering, Vehicle Integration, Powertrain, CAE, Manufacturing, Homologation and suppliers, you will develop battery structural concepts from early packaging studies through detailed 3D design and 2D drawing release, ensuring robust, lightweight, manufacturable and vehicle-integrated solutions that meet performance, safety and durability targets.\nYou will love this role if you enjoy developing mechanical concepts into detailed production-ready designs, solving packaging and structural integration challenges, and working hands-on with cross-functional teams on high-performance battery systems.\nWhere you’llmake an impact\nDevelop mechanical concepts and layouts for HV Battery pack structures, modules and cell integration from early feasibility to detailed design.\n\nDesign battery structural components such as enclosures, covers, base structures, module interfaces, cell retention features, brackets and protection elements.\n\nCreate and maintain 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, BOM data and release documentation for assigned battery mechanical components.\n\nWork with Battery Engineering, Vehicle Integration, CAE, Manufacturing, Quality and suppliers to achieve packaging, structural and production targets.\n\nSupport the definition and deployment of mechanical requirements for stiffness, crash, sealing, durability, tolerances, serviceability and manufacturability.\n\nContribute to packaging reviews, tolerance stack-ups, design reviews and DFM/DFA activities to mature concepts into production-ready designs.\n\nSupport prototype builds, component readiness, supplier follow-up and issue resolution during development and validation phases.\n\nContribute to DFMEA activities and design improvements, supporting root-cause analysis and mitigation actions for mechanical issues.\n\nEnsure design outputs are aligned with validation, homologation, End of Line and aftersales requirements for battery mechanical components.\n\nWhat are your core components\n4+ years of experience in automotive mechanical design, ideally on HV battery packs, modules, cell integrationor structural components.\n\nStrong knowledge of mechanical design, structural packagingand integration of automotive components from concept to design release.\n\nExperience creating and releasing 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMsand technical documentation for production components.\n\nGood understanding of battery pack structures, module interfaces, cell retention/compression concepts, sealingand mechanical protection.\n\nExperience working with CAD/PLM tools such as CATIA/3DX and managing componentdata through the release process.\n\nKnowledge of materials, joining technologies, tolerances, DFM/DFA, lightweight design and production constraints.\n\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams including CAE, testing, manufacturing, qualityand suppliers.\n\nFamiliarity with DFMEA, tolerance analysis, root-cause analysis and validation support for mechanical components.\n\nEngineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.\n\nHands-on mindset, strong ownership, clear communication skills and a drive for continuous improvement.\n\nFuel Package\nPrivate healthcare and mental wellbeing support \nFlexible working hours and up to 12 days of remote work per month\nTransportation allowance and subsidized meals\nCompany performance based bonus and holidays bonus\nMinimum 25 days of holidays from day one\nInternal education programs and opportunities to grow\nA supportive, collaborative, and high-performing environment where people succeed together\nTeam events, company gatherings, and on-site perks (coffee, fruit, relaxation zones)\nFamily support (kindergarten subsidies, children’s events and gifts)\nDog-friendly office and partner discounts\nSalary range starting at €xx,000 gross per year.
