Working across the Electrical Engineering and Software department, you will define key vehicle functionality requirements, ensuring the performance, safety and other aspects of the car will satisfy the highest standards of excellence.You will love this role if you are technically proficient, curious and brave hands on engineer.\nWhere you’ll make an impact\nBenchmarking systems and technologies to guide evolution of the vehicle E/E architecture and platform.\nDefining system boundaries and interfaces; create clear interface diagrams and data flows.\nCapturing, structure and maintain system and sub-system requirements in dedicated tools (e.g. DOORS, Jama, Polarion or similar).\nAnalyzing customer and stakeholder requirements, derive technical requirements and maintain traceability across all levels.\nDeveloping system and function concepts using MBSE methods (use-case diagrams, sequence diagrams, context diagrams, logical architecture).\nSpecifying and review component specifications for ECUs and other hardware within the E/E architecture.\nConsidering safety, diagnostics and degradation behavior when defining functions and interfaces (aligned with ISO 26262 and ASPICE where relevant).\nSupporting implementation teams (HW, SW, test, calibration) with clear requirements, acceptance criteria and interface definitions.\nSupporting system integration and verification in lab and vehicle: review test cases, analyze logs, and help debug system-level issues.\nMaintaining technical documentation: architecture overviews, interface control documents, requirement specifications and change logs.\nWhat are your core components\nDegree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive or Systems Engineering (or similar).\nStrong understanding of automotive systems and components (EV powertrain, ICE powertrain, energy management, chassis, body, infotainment, diagnostics, etc.).\nExperience with requirements engineering and MBSE tools/methods (Jama, DOORS, Polarion, SysML/UML, V-model, traceability)\nGood knowledge of automotive E/E architecture and ECU-based systems.\nProficiency with automotive communication protocols and tools: CAN, LIN (FlexRay/Ethernet is a plus), Vector/ETAS toolchains.\nAbility to read and review electrical schematics, ECU pinouts and wiring diagrams.\nExperience with system-level debugging using logs, traces and measurement tools (e.g. CANoe, CANape, oscilloscopes, data loggers).\nNice to have ones\nBasic knowledge of functional safety and automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE) is an advantage.\nExperience in automotive Cybersecurity\nExperience in an automotive OEM, Tier 1, motorsport or low volume performance EV / Hybrid programmes.\nFamiliarity with embedded software basics (C/C++ or model based design with Matlab/Simulink) and how software maps to system requirements.\nBackground in control systems or vehicle dynamics and their implementation in ECUs.\nExperience with data analysis (Python, Matlab or similar) for test and vehicle data.\nFuel Package\nPrivate healthcare and mental wellbeing support \nFlexible working hours and up to 12 days of remote work per month\nTransportation allowance and subsidized meals\nCompany performance based bonus and holidays bonus\nMinimum 25 days of holidays from day one\nInternal education programs and opportunities to grow\nA supportive, collaborative, and high-performing environment where people succeed together\nTeam events, company gatherings, and on-site perks (coffee, fruit, relaxation zones)\nFamily support (kindergarten subsidies, children’s events and gifts)\nDog-friendly office and partner discounts\nSalary range starting at €37,500 gross per year.
