You have firm, working knowledge of your domain both from a business and technical perspective and you use that expertise to own outcomes, not just tasks. You are self-managing: you set your own priorities within agreed project objectives, manage your stakeholders without prompting, and lead the consultants working alongside you. You bring a strategic lens to your engagements, identifying what is not being asked as well as what is and you are trusted to represent Rimes' capabilities in complex client environments independently.\nRimes Professional Services is the change agent that enables clients to unlock value from Rimes' data management, benchmarking, and platform services. The Solution Consulting team sits at the heart of PS spanning the full client engagement lifecycle from initial scoping and requirements discovery through to solution design, delivery, validation, and adoption The Consulting function operates across three primary product tracks self-serviced Data Management and Investment Intelligence, Rimes-serviced Data Management, and Benchmarks & Indices (B&I) each with its own delivery model, which is reflected throughout this job description.\nWHAT WILL YOU DO: \nClient Engagement & Requirements\nLead requirements discovery across complex, multi-workstream engagements, including facilitated workshops with senior client stakeholders\nInterpret ambiguous or conflicting requirements, identifying the underlying need and guiding clients towards solutions that address it\nManage scope proactively - identifying scope creep, influencing clients towards pragmatic approaches, and ensuring changes are managed formally\nAct as the primary Rimes consulting point of contact for your assigned client workstreams\nSolution Design & Advisory\nDesign and own solution approaches for complex client use cases, covering multiple asset classes and data domains\nLead solution design sessions and client workshops, facilitating effective engagement and clear decision-making\nProactively identify opportunities to improve client processes and expand the value Rimes delivers beyond the immediate project scope\nChallenge non-standard client approaches confidently and constructively, backed by evidence and comparable engagement experience\nReview and quality-assure solution designs and documentation produced by Solution Consultants on your team\nDelivery & Team Leadership\nOwn delivery outcomes across your assigned workstreams, taking accountability for the quality and timeliness of your team's contribution\nAnticipate and actively manage delivery risks; escalate promptly when senior involvement is required\nMentor and guide Solution Consultants working alongside you - reviewing outputs, providing constructive feedback, and helping them develop their capability\nCollaborate cross-functionally across Professional Services, Product and Engineering teams as needed to drive delivery\nValidation, Adoption & Practice Development\nLead UAT planning and execution, defining acceptance criteria and managing client engagement through the testing cycle\nGuide clients through technology change, identifying adoption risks and addressing them proactively\nContribute to the development and improvement of PS best practices, delivery standards, and methodologies\nProvide structured feedback to Product teams on client needs, product gaps, and field observations\nGeneral Delivery and Change\nSupport change beyond formal project delivery where required, including smaller client change, post-deployment enhancements, defects and transition activity, applying your expertise to understand the need, shape the appropriate solution and support it through to a successful outcome.\nSupport wider Professional Services and Rimes priorities as required, including internal projects, change initiatives and activities aligned to company and functional OKRs, contributing your expertise wherever it can add value.\nAI & Innovation\nLead adoption of AI-enabled workflows within your engagements, identifying where new tooling can accelerate delivery or improve quality\nContribute to team capability-building by sharing effective AI workflow practices with less experienced colleagues\nStay actively current with evolving AI capabilities relevant to your product track\nQualifications and Desired Experience\nDeep working knowledge of investment management, asset management, or financial data operations across multiple domains (e.g. equities, fixed income, alternatives, derivatives)\nStrong understanding of data management workflows and technical considerations relevant to the product track\nDemonstrated experience leading client-facing solutioning and delivery on complex, multi-workstream engagements\nExperience mentoring or guiding more junior practitioners in a consulting or delivery environment\nFamiliarity with Rimes products or deep experience with comparable data management or benchmarking platforms\nSkills\nAbility to lead complex solution design and translate it into actionable, well-communicated delivery plans\nStrong stakeholder management - able to influence at project and operational level without formal authority\nClear communication across operational, project, and senior client audiences - able to calibrate message to audience\nComfortable managing competing priorities across multiple workstreams independently\nConstructive challenge - advocating for best practices diplomatically while maintaining client relationships\nKey Attributes\nAccountable for outcomes, not just tasks and takes ownership of what the team delivers\nSelf-managing: sets priorities, manages stakeholders, and escalates proactively without being prompted\nA natural informal leader and mentor and invests time in developing the consultants around them\nBrings a strategic perspective and sees what is not being asked as well as what is\nConsistently models the professional standards in the PS Consulting Excellence Framework\nOnly selected candidates will be contacted for interviews.
