Written and verbal communication to team members, management, technical partners, and customers. Production of clear, traceable technical documentation using standard MS Office tools and also modern engineering tools, test environments, and secure computing systems. The ability to work unsupervised with minimal direction and the ability to self-start is a must.\nWhat required background will make you successful?\nDegree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field\nExperience with RF and/or high-speed digital electronics hardware and/or firmware/FPGA design\nKnowledge of GPS or GNSS systems\nExpert system engineering knowledge across the full system lifecycle, including requirements analysis and allocation, system architecture and design, integration, test, transition to operations, and sustainment activities.\nExperience with Model-Based Systems Engineering and tools (Cameo, DOORS, etc.)\nAbility to write test plans and procedures \nComfort with agile development methods in a dynamic environment \nPrevious experience as a Systems Engineer, working on a large Research and Development program. \nAbility to perform systematic analysis of systems to identify software, hardware, and interface issues and support resolution across the system lifecycle is crucial.\nAbility to identify and articulate discrepancy reports outlining issues or bugs with mitigation response deadlines.\nAbility to develop and interpret complex technical requirements and associate those to system engineering milestones within the development lifecycle.\nAbility to work with engineers and customer to develop a comprehensive Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) \nCurrent Secret Clearance\nAbility to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance\nUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED\nPreferred skills: \nAbility to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance\nPrepare and lead technical reviews with customer-centric input\nExperience in developing Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMP)\nExperience developing project technical documentation including:Requirements with traceability and cross references\nFormal Technical Reviews and creation of artifacts\nFormal and Informal Test Process and procedures\n\nSystem Requirements Review (SRR)\nPreliminary Design Review (PDR)\nCritical Design Review / Critical Design Readiness Review (CDR/CDRR)\nStrong communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams\nCONOP documents\n\nWhere is the position located?\nThis position is located at our Tucson, AZ Headquarters.\n*The likely salary range for this position is $116,000 to $142,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
