RRC personnel can expect to work across all functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration and test, deployment and O&M.\nCome join the team that is creating cutting edge signal processing, geolocation, and communication systems for the future.\n\nWhat are the primary responsibilities in the Geolocation DSP Engineer position?\nUnder general supervision, this individual will work in a small team to conceive, design, implement, analyze, test, deploy, and maintain solutions for geolocation systems. Implementation includes algorithm development, analysis, system optimization and deployment strategies. The right candidate will be expected to demonstrate dedication, discipline, integrity, and team play leading to products that are well-structured, documented, and carefully tested.\nWhat required background will make you successful?\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant technical area such as; Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Physics\nMinimum 5 years experience in software engineering-related discipline\nExceptional applied mathematics ability \nDemonstrated capability in scientific programming\nAbility to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance\nUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED\nPreferred skills:\n\nMaster’s degree or PhD in a relevant technical area; a minor in Applied Mathematics is helpful\nStrong physics fundamentals\nExceptional applied mathematics ability reflected in a background in geolocation, signal processing or communication theory and practice\nExperience in system definition, development and deployment of geolocation algorithms and systems, preferably in a classified environment\nFamiliarity with team coding concepts, version control, testing, and analysis of code performance \nExperience programming in C/C++ or Python\nApplicable background:\nGPS or other navigation systems\nElectromagnetic propagation\nRelativity\nMultipath and interference mitigation\nSignal processing such as CAF processing and cyclostationary detection\nSignal modulation types and parameters\nRADAR processing \nMathematical techniques such as non-linear optimization and statistical analysis \nPositioning algorithms such as MUSIC and TDOA/FDOA geolocation\n\nWhere is the position located?\nThis position can be located at our Centennial, CO office or our Tucson, AZ Headquarters.
