Engineers in this role work on real systems-not just components-and see their work deployed in operational environments.\nYou will work across a wide range of technologies and platforms including:\nEmbedded systems\nFPGA and firmware development\nCPU/GPU architectures\nRF and antenna systems\nDigital signal processing solutions\nFully integrated hardware/software systems\nThis position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative, mission-focused engineering solutions while collaborating with a team of talented engineers across multiple disciplines.\nKey responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nDesign and develop integrated hardware and software systems, including embedded firmware and digital signal processing solutions.\nParticipate in system architecture, requirements development, and interface design.\nImplement and integrate solutions across embedded processors, FPGA platforms, and RF systems.\nDevelop and execute test plans and validation procedures to ensure performance and reliability.\nCollaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-performance mission systems.\nDocument system designs, performance analyses, and test results.\nContribute to innovation, prototyping, and new product development initiatives.\nWhat required background will make you successful?\nBS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field\nExperience with one or more of the following: C, C++, Assembly, VHDL, or Verilog\nFamiliarity with microprocessors, microcontrollers, SoCs, and/or FPGA-based system design\nUnderstanding of hardware and software design principles and industry best practices\nStrong written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting technical work\nAbility to quickly learn and navigate complex codebases and system architectures\nAbility to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance\nUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED\nPreferred skills: \n2+ years of experience with C, C++, Assembly, VHDL, or Verilog\nExperience with embedded Linux\nExperience with Python, shell scripting, or other high-level languages\nExperience using Git or other version control systems\nBackground in digital signal processing or communications systems\nExperience with PCB layout and schematic capture\nExperience with rapid prototyping (3D printing, machining, etc.)\nExperience with field testing of integrated hardware/software systems\n\nWhere is the position located?\nThis position can be located at our Centennial, CO location.\n*The likely salary range for this position is $110,000 to $136,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
