The PM functions with a high degree of independence exercising responsibility for program cost, schedule, performance, budget, risk, and communications management delivering customer satisfaction while maintaining our company’s outstanding reputation.\nCome join the team that is creating cutting edge signal processing and geolocation systems for the future!\n\nWhat are the primary responsibilities in the Program Manager position?\nThe PM is responsible for all phases of the contract lifecycle including proposal development, staffing, development of plans and schedules, sub-project management and control, conducting formal tests, financial management and forecasting, project reviews, quality, customer relationships, reporting to customers and RRC management, and long-term product support. The PM may also be responsible for one or more projects that may, or may not be interrelated; and may, or may not serve the same customer. The PM may also be responsible for managing teams that are geographically dispersed.\nThe PM will develop and lead personnel in creative problem solving, implementation of advanced hardware/software capabilities, and real-world testing leading to deployment of prototypes and deliverable systems. RRC's dynamic environment and diverse projects demand flexibility to quickly master new technologies, leverage existing customers to increase business, and develop new customers to enable growth of Rincon.\nThe PM will also assist senior management and technical staff in setting strategic technology goals to continue our current success in developing leading technologies to solve mission critical problems. A significant aspect of the PM’s responsibilities will be participation in business development activities that include leading and/or authoring contract proposals.\nWhat required background will make you successful?\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Physics, or other related field\nAt least 10 years' experience as an engineer and/or technical program manager\nAt least 3 years’ experience as a technical program manager\nExperience creating execution plans and schedules, including financial baselines and forecasts\nExperience building and leading technical teams\nSignificant experience writing successful proposals\nProven track record of successful customer relationship development and management\nDemonstrated history of excellence in program execution \nActive TS/SCI security clearance\nUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED\nPreferred background: \nMaster's or PhD Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Physics, or other related field\nProfessional certification in program management\nDemonstrated ability to write or analyze requirements and test documentation\nExperience developing complex DSP systems as a software developer, hardware developer, or algorithm engineer\nFamiliarity with Program Management software tools (ForProject, Microsoft Project, etc.)\n\nWhere is the position located?\nThis position can be located at our Centennial, CO; Colorado Springs, CO; or Chantilly, VA locations.\n*The likely salary range for this position is $165,000 to $200,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
