We are seeking a temporary Quality Assurance Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate should have a passion for product and craftsmanship. This position will be responsible for conducting inspections on incoming production and actively contributing to enhancing overall quality by efficiently identifying underlying causes of issues and working closely with Product Development to resolve them. \nThis is a temporary role, expected to work full-time hours out of our Midtown NYC office through the end of 2026.\nResponsibilities:\nOversee all incoming inspections for Bridal and Fine Jewelry & ensure all products meet Ring Concierge's standards.\nEvaluate diamonds, colored stones, and pearls to ensure that quality is accurate.\nRaise quality concerns as soon as possible and communicate defects to the Product Development team.\nInspect on-hand inventory as quality concerns arise, whether from internal review or customer feedback.\nReview and validate quality inspection submissions from suppliers, along with product detail decks for all inbound shipments.\nDocument internal and external inspection results and enter data into the company database.\nIdentify manufacturing defect trends; work with the Product Development team, recommending solutions and product improvements.\nAssess, report, and document supplier production and quality issues.\nWork closely with the Product Development team to understand and resolve technical challenges.\nParticipate in virtual product quality reviews with cross-functional partners.\nEstablish quality requirements in partnership with Product Development and inspection standards for all jewelry.\nAbout You\nA trusted, collaborative, and detail-oriented self-starter.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and composedly.\nEmbraces and manages change with a positive attitude.\nRequirements \nGIA Graduate Diamonds (GD) diploma or Graduate Gemologist (GG) diploma is preferred but not required.\n2+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance, jewelry inspection, and repair are required. \nExperience and understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes, testing, and supply chain operations preferred. \nKnowledge of diamonds, gemstones, gold, platinum, and silver is preferred. \nProficiency in MS Excel and Google Suite is required. \nEnergy, confidence, and self-motivation.\nStrong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced setting under tight deadlines with strong project and time management skills.\nComfortable working autonomously.\nEager to take on new challenges, introduce and implement new approaches and ideas, grow, test, and learn.\nDetails\nFull-time role onsite located in Midtown, NYC \nWorking Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the knowledge that this engagement will be during peak sales periods, and your day may extend past listed office hours\nThe compensation range for this role is $30/hr","description_format":"text","description_chars":3097,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Jewelry"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-29T01:45:30Z"}],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":3,"expected_fill_days":16,"reasons":["conf:12","win:early","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-02T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":60000,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/ring-concierge-quality-assurance-associate-temporary","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/ring-concierge-quality-assurance-associate-temporary.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-03T02:01:22Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":2082,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":2918,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-04T00:00:00Z"}}}
