We’re currently looking for:\nWe are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to partner with GTM, Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and business growth. In this individual contributor role, you will independently own analyses and metrics from question to recommendation, working with large-scale datasets and communicating results to technical and non-technical audiences.\nThe ideal candidate combines advanced SQL and strong analytical skills with sound business judgment, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.\nResponsibilities\nPartner with stakeholders: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for using data to optimize processes and improve performance, and shape ambiguous questions into well-defined analyses.\nAnalyze large datasets: Explore, clean, and analyze large datasets, including large transaction and records data, to generate actionable insights and clear recommendations.\nOwn metric and analysis design: Define metrics and design analyses that leverage big data sources, using advanced SQL to extract, transform, and interpret large-scale datasets.\nBuild reporting solutions: Build and maintain automated dashboards and reporting that support data-driven decision-making and reduce manual effort.\nImprove data quality and infrastructure: Evaluate data quality, integrate new data sources, and work with Data Engineering to improve data infrastructure and reliability.\nCommunicate with impact: Present findings and translate complex analyses into clear, concise insights for non-technical stakeholders, and follow up to track outcomes.\nDeliver under pressure: Handle ad hoc analytics requests alongside planned projects, delivering timely, high-quality insights under tight deadlines and prioritizing effectively across competing requests.\nRaise the bar: Apply and share good practices for analysis, documentation, and validation, and look for opportunities to automate repeatable work, including with AI-assisted tools.\nQualifications\n3+ years of experience in data analytics or a related role.\nAdvanced proficiency in SQL, with demonstrated experience analyzing big data, including large transaction and records datasets, to generate reports and analyses.\nExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.\nTrack record of independently owning analyses and projects from problem definition through insight delivery.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities simultaneously.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.\nBachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics) or equivalent experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience applying AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate analysis, code and query development, automation, and reporting.\nProficiency in Python, R, or Alteryx for data analysis and automation.\nExperience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, GCP, or Azure.\nFamiliarity with GTM/revenue data and metrics (pipeline, funnel conversion, bookings/ARR, retention) and CRM data such as Salesforce.\nRingCentral’s work culture is the backbone of our success.
