Responsibilities extend beyond the cab, with the balance of hauling, machine operation and hands-on tasks changing as the project progresses.\nWhat you will do\nDrive a tractor equipped with a 10-speed manual gearbox while towing a belly-dump trailer.\nOperate additional vehicles when needed, including dump trucks with manual transmissions and a water truck.\nAssist the crew with physical tasks at the worksite rather than limiting your contribution to driving.\nTake on equipment duties as needed, potentially using skid-steers, backhoes, rollers or maintainers.\nMove between truck assignments, equipment operation and manual labor according to the work required during each project phase.\nWhat you bring\nA valid Class A commercial driver's license.\nThe ability to handle manual-transmission vehicles and tow trailers, including the tractor-and-trailer setup described above.\nWillingness to perform physical labor and support the crew through changing combinations of driving and equipment tasks.\nAvailability for the usual Monday through Thursday workweek, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., with flexibility for schedule changes.
