Your attention to detail and ability to contribute to a diverse team will ensure the functionality of our resort and the safety and satisfaction of every guest.\nROLE EXPECTATIONS\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nPerform preventative maintenance of all equipment.\n\nTroubleshoot complex maintenance problems and develop creative solutions.\n\nPerform maintenance duties as necessary.\n\nMaintain all refrigeration equipment in each outlet.\n\nRepair and maintain all machinery at property\n\nEstablish schedules for repairs and preventative maintenance and ensure they are adhered to.\n\nAbility to handle independent work responsibility and with good judgment.\n\nWork shifts necessary to complete assigned projects.\n\nInterface with other departments.\n\nUse drain-clearing equipment when required.\n\nOperate scissor and boom lifts and climb ladders to access elevated areas and equipment.\n\nMaintain knowledge of safety procedures for Lock out / Tag out procedures for all types of stored energy.\n\nEnsure accurate record keeping.\n\nProvide a current Nevada Motor Vehicle Report every 6 months, and immediately notify the department leader of any changes to the Nevada Driver's License status.\n\nTemporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis position does not have supervisory responsibilities.\n\nREQUIREMENTS\nMust be at least 21 years of age.\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n\nAt least two (2) years working with commercial kitchen equipment repair, refrigeration, plumbing, commercial ware washing equipment, and ice machines.\n\nExperience repairing Hobart, Moyer Diebel, Jackson, Stero, Insinger, and Glass Tender ware wash equipment.\n\nExperience repairing Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, Kold Draft, and Scotsman Ice Machines\n\nGeneral knowledge and comfortability with plumbing, hand tools, welding and soldering, refrigeration, and electrical\n\nBeginner skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook\n\nMust be able to read and understand electrical schematics.\n\nMust maintain a clean DMV record.\n\nExcellent customer service skills\n\nAbility to respond to common inquiries from Team Members and/or guests.\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with guests, management, Team Members, and other outside contacts.\n\nExcellent communication and customer service skills\n\nExcellent organizational skills; able to function under time constraints and deadlines with attention to detail.\n\nMust be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.\n\nWork in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment\n\nCERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS\nMust be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or utilize objects, tools, or controls.\n\nThe Team Member frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.\n\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.\n\nThe Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.\n\nMust be able to maneuver on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs. Must be able to think clearly and respond calmly in all situations.\n\nMust be able to learn and retain locations, operation and repair procedures of the property mechanical systems, equipment, and life safety system.\n\nMust possess coordination and dexterity to work with power and hand tools such as drills, electric saws, hammers, sewer snakes, etc....\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nWhile Work is performed indoors, Team Member is exposed to a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.\n\nClose spaces while working with others.\n\nWhile work is performed outdoors, Team Member could be required to maneuvering for prolonged periods of time, both inside and outside, sometimes in extreme temperatures.\n\nRespond to visual and aural cues.\n\nRio Las Vegas is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
