Our values, care, courage and curiosity, guide how we work and how we treat each other.\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for an Advisor, Project Controls to develop, maintain and report integrated schedules and cost analysis for project studies and execution. With a strong focus on cost, planning and scheduling, you will help project teams understand progress, risks, changes and forecast impacts so they can make informed delivery decisions.\nThis is a great opportunity for an experienced project controls professional who combines cost analysis and scheduling capability with strong stakeholder partnership and practical problem-solving. You will work under the direction of and support Senior Cost and Schedule Advisors to recommend solutions to complex planning challenges, support process improvements and provide informal guidance to other team members.\nYou will report to the Manager, Project Controls and work as a key member of an integrated project controls team.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nAssisting with the creation, maintenance and reporting on the project cost, plan and schedule.\nParticipating in project cost and schedule review meetings and updates spreadsheets and schedules.\nAssisting in maintaining the integrity of integrated project schedules.\nSupporting development of monthly cost and schedule reports, including proper analysis.\nAssisting in the development and update of progress and commodity curves.\nAssisting in cost and schedule development and monitoring for assigned areas.\nSupporting compliance with standardized processes, systems and tools.\nMaintaining the relationship with contracting and other project planning stakeholders.\nCollaborates with the cost engineering and estimating groups to ensure that implications of changes are well articulated.\nAssisting with analyzing and reporting implications of changes to plan and schedule.\nProviding technical support to project stakeholders.\nAbout you\nWe’re looking for someone whose experience aligns with the key requirements below. If you bring relevant experience and are excited by the opportunity, we encourage you to submit an application.\nA commitment to the safety of yourself and your team. \nExtensive experience in project planning, cost and scheduling within an industrial, mining, construction or similarly complex project environment. \nDemonstrated proficiency with SAP, Oracle Primavera P6 and experience developing, maintaining and analyzing costs and integrated project schedules. \nExperience integrating contractor schedules into a master schedule and supporting cost and resource loading and schedule integration with cost systems. \nStrong knowledge of project controls practices, including planning, scheduling, cost performance measurement, risk and change management, and cost-schedule integration. \nStrong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work independently, solve complex problems and provide guidance to others.
