Our values - care, courage and curiosity - guide how we work and how we treat each other.\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for an Engineer Maintenance to provide technical assistance, support and expert advice on maintenance and continuous improvement supporting our West Angelas Operations in the Pilbara.\nReporting to the Superintendent Mobile Equipment Engineering, you will work across mobile plant assets to improve maintainability, reliability and asset performance. You will support maintenance teams with planning, defect elimination, root cause analysis and asset recovery, while translating asset condition and performance information into practical maintenance strategies.\nThis is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving equipment problems, working closely with maintenance teams and developing sustainable improvements that reduce risk and improve operational performance.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nReporting to the Superintendent Mobile Equipment Engineering and working with maintenance, asset health, planning and operational teams, you will:\nProvide technical support to maintenance teams for mobile plant assets, including planned and preventative work and breakdown response. \nAnalyse equipment failures and complete root cause investigations, recommending and tracking corrective actions. \nReview asset condition, defects and performance data to prioritise maintenance and reliability improvements. \nDevelop and improve maintenance strategies, tactics and work scopes using risk, cost and asset criticality information. \nLead maintainability and continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, reliability and cost performance. \nSupport asset recovery activities and the return of equipment to a safe, functional state. \nProvide engineering input to minor projects, repair scopes and replacement decisions. \nCoach maintenance personnel and support consistent application of work management and quality assurance processes. \nAbout you\nWe’re looking for someone whose experience aligns with the key requirements below. If you bring relevant experience and are excited by the opportunity, we encourage you to submit an application.\nRequired for Success\nA commitment to the safety of yourself and your team. \nDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics engineering discipline.\nSound understanding of maintenance and reliability engineering principles.\nPractical experience working with mobile plant maintenance, depending on the assigned asset area. At the West Angelas hub there are state-of-the-art power generation and refueling facilities.
