Our values - care, courage and curiosity - guide how we work and how we treat each other.\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for a Senior Adviser Data SME to support the establishment and embedding of data governance, data quality reporting and metrics across the procurement P2P portfolio (MSMS). The role will work with business data owners, process owners and data stewards to translate agreed standards into practical controls, reporting and sustainable routines.\nInitially, the role will support system integration testing, user acceptance testing and data validation, before moving toward a stronger focus on data quality and technical reporting. You will help transition governance activities from the Program into business-as-usual operations, with clear ownership, accountability and fit-for-purpose processes.\nReporting to the GPO Data Lead, you will work across our internal Procurement (MSMS GPO) team, business stakeholders, process owners and technology teams. This is an opportunity to turn an established governance strategy into practical delivery and lasting business outcomes.\nWhat you'll be doing\nEmbed data governance standards, ownership, business rules and stewardship practices across the MSMS GPO portfolio. \nTranslate governance strategy into practical controls, schedules, working routines and business-as-usual responsibilities. \nDevelop and maintain data quality reporting, metrics and key performance indicators that provide clear insights for business and Program stakeholders. \nCoordinate data quality activities, including validation, issue management, root-cause analysis, remediation tracking and prioritisation. \nPartner with data owners, data stewards, process owners and GPO stakeholders to clarify scope, accountability and decision rights. \nSupport system integration testing, user acceptance testing and data validation, including triage and follow-up of data-related defects. \nPrepare and maintain governance documentation, controls, procedures, training materials and transition artefacts. \nEnable the transition of governance and data quality activities from the Program into sustainable business-as-usual operations. \nAbout you\nWe’re looking for someone whose experience aligns with the key requirements below.
