Reporting to the Superintendent Major Works, you will support the development of shutdown scope and readiness, while leading the safe execution, commissioning, handover and close-out of complex maintenance campaigns on Primary Crushers (Gyratory and Jaw Crushers), Apron Feeders, or Balance Machines.\nWorking on a 6:6 FIFO roster, you will play a key role in driving safe execution, quality outcomes, shutdown performance and asset reliability while partnering with operational, maintenance, engineering and contractor stakeholders across the Pilbara.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\nLead the safe execution of major shutdown and maintenance activities on specialised fixed plant assets including Primary Crushers, Apron Feeders and Balance Machines.\nSupport shutdown scope development, methodology reviews, readiness activities and execution planning to ensure work is executable and aligned with shutdown objectives.\nLead frontline teams, contractors and specialist vendors during shutdown execution, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.\nDrive shutdown readiness through work pack reviews, walk-the-task activities, risk assessments, isolation planning and commissioning preparation.\nCoordinate labour, equipment, tooling, materials and contractor resources throughout the shutdown lifecycle.\nManage execution performance against schedule, critical path milestones, budget and shutdown objectives.\nLead QA/QC, verification and commissioning activities to ensure assets are returned to service safely and reliably.\nFacilitate effective communication and collaboration between operations, maintenance, engineering, planning and contractor stakeholders.\nCapture maintenance history, shutdown learnings and improvement opportunities to support continuous improvement and future shutdown performance.\nEnsure all activities comply with safety, environmental, statutory and Rio Tinto shutdown management requirements.\nSupport shutdown reviews, close-out activities and implementation of improvement actions following execution.\nAbout You\n We’re looking for someone whose experience aligns with the key requirements outlined below.
