OVERVIEW:\nThe role is located at Lawrence Allen Centre in Toronto, ON.\nReporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for assisting the General Manager with managing the day to day operations of the site(s) within the assigned portfolio.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nAssist the General Manager in collecting and entering monthly rents in Yardi;\nReview A/R and call tenants for outstanding arrears;\nResolve tenant issues;\nMaintain accounting / invoicing procedures, including processing supplier invoices, entering purchase orders into Yardi and preparing monthly tenant service invoices;\nPrepare statement of accounts and correspondences to send to tenants and vendors;\nEnsure tenant billings and year-end adjustments are correct and as per lease agreement;\nPrepare and distribute year-end recoveries to all tenants;\nReview lease summaries;\nInform manager of any property, tenant or A/R issues;\nPrepare and update reports;\nPrepare default and / or demand notices to tenants for non-payment of rent;\nTrain and support Property Administrator where applicable;\nReconcile and track specialty leasing agreements and associated rent;\nAssist with tender packages by providing historical costs;\nProvide administrative support to the General Manager;\nAssist with developing operating budgets;\nOther duties / projects as required.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nCollege Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration;\nMinimum 3 years of experience in property management;\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills;\nProficient in Word, Excel and Outlook;\nDemonstrated problem solving
