Riot Games is an American video game developer founded in 2006 that built League of Legends, the free-to-play team battle game that became one of the most played titles in the world and the foundation of modern esports. It has since released the tactical shooter Valorant, the card game Legends of Runeterra, the mobile title Wild Rift and the animated series Arcane, all set in the same fictional universe, and it operates the professional leagues around its games directly rather than licensing them out. Headquartered in Los Angeles and wholly owned by Tencent, it is unusual for running a small number of titles as very long-lived services.

Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title, League of Legends, to critical and player acclaim. Since then, Riot has expanded its portfolio and become a leader in global esports. Players form the foundation of our community, and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the player experience. We are building a collaborative, tech-savvy accounting team that partners closely with local and global stakeholders to support Riot’s growing business in Korea. We are not just focused on recording transactions. We help teams operate with clarity, discipline, and strong financial judgment.
