In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day management and control of the company’s inventory, ensuring accurate inventory levels are maintained to meet operational needs while minimizing excess stock and preventing shortages.\nThe Inventory Supervisor will work closely with Procurement, Operations, and Logistics to ensure inventory processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with business needs. This role will also be responsible for supervising inventory staff, maintaining accurate inventory records and data, monitoring inventory levels, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and overall supply chain efficiency.\nWhat you'll do\nCollaborate with management, administrative, operations, maintenance, and construction teams to align inventory levels with operational needs.\nCommunicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve inventory-related issues.\nServe as the primary point of contact for inventory-related inquiries and concerns.\nUse RF unit to scan incoming shipments \nKeep strict batch records and received shipment records \nRotate stock and track as needed \nUpload Received Shipment forms into ERP system \nSupervise and coordinate activities of a designated unit; determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and determine methods for expediting workflow; assign, review and approve the work of subordinate staff \nTrain inventory staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.\nAssign tasks and responsibilities to team members, providing guidance and support as needed.\nConduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.\nMonitor stock levels to ensure availability of necessary supplies and parts for continuous mining operations.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards related to inventory management.\nImplement and maintain safe handling and storage practices for all inventory items.\nReceive all incoming deliveries and packages and track delivery to departments\nWhat you'll bring\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.\nStrong knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, processes, and inventory management systems.\nProficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory data, identify discrepancies, and make informed operational decisions.\nExceptional attention to detail and accuracy in inventory records, reporting, and documentation.\nProven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop team members.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively working with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage deadlines, and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Operations, and Logistics.\nAbility to adapt to changing business needs, operational priorities, and inventory demands.\nAbility to exercise sound judgment, work independently, and take ownership of inventory-related responsibilities.\nPhysical requirements and work environment\nAbility to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods\nAbility to lift and move equipment as needed (25lbs)\nAbility to work onsite in a data center environment (heat, noise, etc.)\nExposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures\nSafety Requirements\nPPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots).\nHazard Awareness: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.\nStandards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training.\nOrganization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.\nCompensation and Benefits\nSalary commensurate with experience. \n401(k) retirement plan: Incudes a generous company match.\nComprehensive health coverage: Multiple medical plan options, including 100% company-paid plans, HAS & FSA.\nWork-life balance: Paid time off, sick time and floating holidays.\nWellness & lifestyle perks: Enjoy free gym memberships, pet insurance, childcare discounts, employee assistance program, and more to support your life both in and out of work.\nRiot is an equal opportunity employer.
