People who thrive in fast paced environments, communicate clearly, and bring relentless focus to efficiency and execution.\n About this role\nThe L&D Specialist partners across the People Operations and Talent Management team to build and run learning programs that help employees grow, from onboarding to manager development and training. This role works closely with key stakeholders to figure out what people need to learn and build the right solutions for it. That includes:\nOwning learning programs from planning through evaluation\nDeveloping instructional content and facilitating learning experiences\nManaging learning and performance technologies\nMeasuring what's working (and fixing what's not)\nThis person balances running programs well with the bigger picture as Riot's needs evolve.\nThis is a hybrid position based out of our Round Rock, TX office.\n\nWhat you’ll do\nLearning Program Management\n·Own assigned learning programs from planning through evaluation.\n·Manage onboarding, employee development, compliance, leadership, internship, technical training, and other assigned programs.\n·Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, timelines, and communications.\n·Facilitate instructor-led and virtual learning experiences.\nInstructional Design\n·Design and develop facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, videos, eLearning modules, and performance support resources.\n·Maintain and continuously improve learning content.\nLearning Consultation\n·Partner with managers to identify capability gaps and recommend learning solutions aligned with business priorities.\n·Conduct learning needs analyses and translate findings into development plans.\nLMS & Systems\n· Administer LMS including curricula, learning paths, certifications, enrollments, reporting, and data integrity.\n· Recommend system improvements to improve learner experience.\nEvaluation & Continuous Improvement\n· Analyze participation, feedback, assessments, and business outcomes.\n· Recommend and implement improvements to curriculum, delivery methods, and learner experience.\nProject Management\n· Manage multiple learning initiatives while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.\n· Develop project plans, milestones, and stakeholder communications.\nTalent Management Partnership\n· Partner with Talent Management to support employee development, IDPs, career growth, succession, and internal mobility.\nStakeholder Partnership\n·Build trusted partnerships with managers and business leaders to identify capability needs and support organizational priorities.\nWhat you’ll bring\n·Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred\n·3+ years of Learning & Development, Talent Development, HR, or related experience preferred.\n·Experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating learning programs.\n·Experience partnering with business leaders and managing enterprise learning initiatives.\n·Facilitation and presentation skills\n·Learning program management\n·Project management\n·Learning content development\n·Business partnership and stakeholder consultation\n·Experience utilizing and managing various LMS systems\n·Experience with Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Canva, or similar\n·Experience with Asana or similar project management tools\n·Experience leveraging AI-enabled learning tools (Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Abacus, ChatGPT, or similar).\nCompensation and Benefits\nCompetitive Salary: Base range (commensurate with experience) + bonus + sign-on equity grant.\nLong-Term Growth: Eligible to participate in Riot’s equity incentive programs and share in the success you help build.\n401(k) Retirement Plan: Incudes a generous company match.\nComprehensive Health Coverage: Multiple medical plan options, including 100% company-paid plans.\nWellness & Lifestyle Perks: Enjoy free gym memberships, pet insurance, childcare discounts, and more to support your life both in and out of work.\nRiot is an equal opportunity employer.
