In this role, you will own the architecture, design, development, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions that automate business processes and enhance user experience. You will partner directly with business stakeholders to shape requirements, drive solutions from concept through delivery with minimal oversight, set development standards for the platform, and ensure it remains scalable, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices.\nThis position will be based in our Austin office. Relocation assistance is available for non-local candidates.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nLead the architecture, design, and development of technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Asset Management, and CMDB.\nConfigure and customize advanced aspects of ServiceNow, such as UI Actions, UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Script Includes, with an emphasis on maintainable, upgrade-safe solutions.\nDesign and build integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using ServiceNow’s APIs and integration best practices.\nEstablish and enforce development standards through code reviews, and champion platform health, performance, and scalability.\nServe as the technical escalation point for the most complex platform issues, owning them through to resolution.\nCreate and maintain Service Portal pages using HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.\nWhat you’ll have\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD) or a Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification strongly preferred.\n7-10+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration, including ownership of complex, cross-functional implementations.\nExpert-level proficiency in JavaScript, as well as strong experience with HTML, CSS, and XML.\nProven experience designing and building integrations using ServiceNow’s APIs (REST and SOAP) and integration techniques.\nExperience with CSM, Asset Management, or Nuvolo is highly valued.\nDeep understanding of ITIL and Customer Service Management processes and how they are applied and extended within the ServiceNow platform.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently drive multiple concurrent initiatives from concept through delivery.\nExcellent communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including presenting design decisions and trade-offs to leadership.\nCompensation and Benefits\nCompetitive Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 (commensurate with experience) + bonus + sign-on equity grant.\nLong-Term Growth: Eligible to participate in Riot’s equity incentive programs and share in the success you help build.\n401(k) Retirement Plan: Incudes a generous company match.\nComprehensive Health Coverage: Multiple medical plan options, including 100% company-paid plans.\nWellness & Lifestyle Perks: Enjoy free gym memberships, pet insurance, childcare discounts, and more to support your life both in and out of work.\nRiot is an equal opportunity employer.
