This role reports to the Head of TPM within Ripple Core. This is a challenging and technical role, requiring the expertise to synthesize business and technical requirements and the foresight to ensure we are solving for Ripple's current and future customer needs. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to design robust and scalable systems, lead product schedules, remove roadblocks, and ensure high development velocity. Ideal candidates have a track record of seeing around the corner and providing technical leadership to deliver for customers. You will be responsible for high-level strategy, but also know when to get hands-on to push an initiative forward. You must be passionate about enabling teams to invent and deliver customer-focused solutions to bold and ambiguous challenges.\nWhat you'll do:\nDevelop department-level priorities and strategy across strategic product initiatives by understanding our customers and technology deeply.\nReduce ambiguity and risk by proactively identifying and eliminating bottlenecks and obstacles, raising issues strategically, and making sound data-driven decisions that deliver for our customers based on associated trade-offs.\nCommunicate with purpose and clarity, bringing together cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.\nBe a role model and an inspiring leader for other TPMs.\nCreate technical frameworks that can be used by engineering teams for decision-making.\nImprove the efficiency of Operational Excellence processes across the organization.\nPartner with program managers, product managers, and engineering managers to understand development priorities and drive alignment across multiple partners with impactful priorities.\nDrive Ripple’s most strategic, company-wide initiatives end-to-end, partnering with executive leadership to set direction, secure alignment across business units, and translate company goals into executable multi-quarter programs.\nOwn outcomes across a portfolio of large programs, anticipating cross-program dependencies and risks, making trade-off calls at the leadership level, and ensuring delivery translates into measurable customer and business impact.\nWhat you'll bring:\n12+ years of technical program management experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in sophisticated enterprise technology environments, with a track record of delivering strategic initiatives across multiple organizations.\nAbility to use data and analytics to look at trends and lead health of projects and systems.\nShown understanding and working knowledge of software development and modern project management standard processes, such as Agile, Scrum, Six Sigma, etc.\nAbility to coordinate multi-functionally, build consensus, and deliver across teams. Able to influence without authority, negotiate, and encourage others in a matrixed environment.\nExperience with project planning tools such as Jira and Confluence, and proficiency in Google Sheets.\nExperience crafting or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.\nExperience in Payments, Custody, Stablecoin, and/or Blockchain ecosystems.\nFor positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position.
