The Platform team operates at the intersection of software engineering, infrastructure, and operations-managing critical services, public test environments, and internal developer tooling. With strong foundations in DevOps and GitOps, the team is focused on delivering fully automated, highly available, and cost-efficient systems that enable developer velocity and protect the health of the XRPL ecosystem.\nIn this role, you’ll drive the design and development of platform components and infrastructure services that support distributed, high-throughput systems. You’ll help evolve core systems through automation, monitoring, and incident response, while influencing technical direction and mentoring other engineers.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nDesign and implement scalable and resilient infrastructure supporting production-grade XRPL services and public blockchain networks.\nBuild automation for infrastructure lifecycle, CI/CD workflows, and deployment pipelines using tools like Terraform, Helm, and GitHub Actions.\nDevelop systems and services that support observability, secret management, disaster recovery, and regional failover.\nImprove platform reliability through proactive instrumentation, alerting, and incident response in collaboration with observability and security teams.\nContribute to and maintain internal tooling, self-service workflows, and platform capabilities that support developer efficiency and service delivery.\nEvaluate new tools to improve infrastructure scalability and reduce manual overhead.\nWHAT YOU'LL BRING\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field-or equivalent practical experience.\n4+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years operating cloud-native infrastructure at scale (AWS/GCP preferred).\nStrong programming skills in Go, Python, or Java, with a deep understanding of Linux systems, networking, and concurrency.\nProven experience with Kubernetes (EKS or similar), container runtimes (Docker/OCI), and service meshes (Istio, Linkerd, etc.).\nHands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and deploying infrastructure using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.\nExpertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Helm, Ansible) and related automation practices.\nFamiliarity with distributed systems monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent tools.\nStrong leadership and collaboration skills-able to align technical execution across teams while mentoring and developing talent.\nExcellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving outcomes in complex and evolving environments.\nFor positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below.
