core responsibilities for the job include the following:\n\nIT Operations and Infrastructure Management: \nManage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, endpoints, storage, and enterprise applications.\nPerform system configuration, upgrades, and maintenance to ensure performance, availability, and security.\nManage endpoint provisioning, configuration, lifecycle management, and installation of mandatory security software during onboarding.\nFollow change management processes for system updates, configurations, and infrastructure changes.\nMaintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and system configuration baselines.\nMaintain system documentation, SOPs, and audit evidence for security and infrastructure controls.\n\nCloud Infrastructure, Monitoring, and Security Management: \nManage and secure cloud infrastructure across the GCP environment.\nConfigure IAM policies, network security controls, and cloud security configurations.\nManage backup, high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery configurations and testing while ensuring defined RPO/RTO objectives.\nConduct periodic access reviews, monitor resource utilization, and support cloud cost optimization.\nConfigure and maintain centralized logging and monitoring systems, including alerting and log retention.\nMonitor network activity and security events to identify and respond to potential threats.\nMonitor IT systems and security tools to detect suspicious activities and security incidents.\nDevelop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.\n\nIdentity and Access Management: \nManage user provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning across enterprise systems.\nImplement authentication controls including MFA, SSO, and secure password policies.\nMonitor privileged access and enforce access approval workflows and segregation of duties.\nManage access and security configurations for SaaS applications and third-party tools.\n\nEndpoint Security and Device Management: \nDeploy, Implement and manage endpoint security solutions such as EDR/XDR, DLP, VPN, and MDM agents to enforce device security policies.\nManage patching processes to ensure timely updates, vulnerability remediation, and system security across infrastructure and endpoints.\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, and access-related issues for end users.\n\nRequirements: \nExperience with network administration, endpoint management, and IT security operations.\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP) and hybrid infrastructure environments.\nImplementation and management of MDM (VPN, DLP, EDR) tools.\nExperience with Identity and Access Management systems.\nKnowledge of network security technologies and firewall management.\nExperience in incident response to alerts in the GCP.\nKnowledge of patch management, vulnerability management, and system hardening.\nExperience with backup, disaster recovery planning, and DR testing.\nAbility to maintain asset inventory and system configuration records.\nFamiliarity with REST APIs and basic scripting (Python/Bash) to support internal automation
