You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Quality Officers, Safety, Fleet, subcontractors, and clients to ensure work is executed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with the project specifications. This position calls for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can effectively tackle challenges and ensure high-quality outcomes\nKey Responsibilities\nThe responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:\nProvide technical support during the construction phase, ensuring compliance with project designs and specifications.\nReview and interpret project drawings and specifications, offering feedback as necessary.\nCoordinate with subcontractors to ensure proper execution of project tasks.\nSupport project managers in maintaining accurate documentation of project progress and challenges.\nConduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise.\nPrepare reports detailing project status, metrics, and outcomes.\nFoster effective communication among team members to ensure smooth project operations.\nDraft Requests for Information (RFIs) and liaise with clients for clarifications.\nAttend daily meetings with clients and contractors, relaying project updates and feedback.\nParticipate in developing work packages, determining required materials and resources based on design specifications.\nAdhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of quality in every task.\nComplete and review all inspection sheets and safety documents. Scan to SharePoint and file all paperwork into the appropriate binders/files\nMaintain daily quality control from field activities to ensure staff are completing the provided QC Forms, Quantifying Pictures, and UTM Coordinates as per Inspection and Test Plan.\nUpdate the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) once Field Quality Control Forms are completed, scanned, and filed within QC Binders.\nAssistance in capturing and maintaining Data Books and Operation and Maintenance Books (O&M) project deliverables from a field perspective.\nCheck and update all equipment, trucks and test equipment on site for the shift. Maintain record including correct identification number, wash log, and calibration certificate of all equipment coming to and leaving the job site\nPrint daily safety documents and timesheet form on daily basis for Foreman. Ensure documentation is returned and timesheet forms with updated daily notes, employee counts, LOA, and equipment information is entered into Time Control\nAdditional Information\nAs a condition of employment, candidates will be required to complete pre-employment screening including professional reference checks and a criminal record check.\nRequirements\nWhat You'll Bring\nA degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, or 4+ years working in a similar role within the High Voltage Construction industry.\n1-3 years of experience in a field engineering or similar role.\nStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large sets of data.\nExperience with project management software such as Aconex is an asset.\nOutstanding problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.\nCapability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.\nWillingness to travel to various job sites as required.\nPossession of a valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.\nBenefits\nWhy Rising Edge Group?\nSafety & Excellence: Safety is at the heart of everything we do.
