Rising Ground is headquartered in New York City.\nRole Overview\nRising Ground’s Clinical Support Program embeds professionals specializing in mental health, substance use, and intimate partner violence into child protective work in Brooklyn. Working closely with Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) staff and families, the team assesses needs, recommends services, and connects families with appropriate supports to strengthen child safety and family outcomes.\nAs the CASAC Team Clinical Supervisor, you will supervise CASAC clinicians stationed at ACS Brooklyn field offices and oversee substance use screening, assessment, referral, and recovery support for caregivers involved in the child welfare system.\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee substance use screening, assessment, and referral services, ensuring timely engagement, clinical consultation, and accurate documentation.\nProvide consistent supervision, case consultation, coaching, professional development, and performance evaluations for CASAC clinicians.\nEnsure clinicians use evidence-based or best-practice approaches in substance use assessments and recovery support.\nConduct substance use assessments using clinical interviews, screenings, and standardized tools as needed.\nCoordinate individualized referrals with the Access and Referral Department and provide warm handoffs to service providers.\nInform CPS decision-making and case conferences by identifying child safety concerns and explaining substance use dynamics within family systems.\nEducate CPS staff on substance use trends, treatment options, and best practices for engaging affected families.\nParticipate in relevant internal and external meetings with ACS and community partners.\nProvide after-hours consultation coverage as needed.\nSupport quality improvement initiatives, audits, and compliance reviews.\nPerform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.\nThis description does not cover every activity, duty, or responsibility required for this position. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time, with or without notice.\nRequired Qualifications\nRequired\nValid CASAC-Advance credential.\nBachelor’s degree.\n30 hours of OASAS-approved Clinical Supervision Foundations I & II training.\nExperience and comfort with evidence-based models, such as motivational interviewing, and multiple substance use screening and assessment measures.\nPreferred\nFamiliarity with Connections and PROMIS databases.\nSupervisory Responsibility\nSupervise CASAC clinicians, including case consultation, coaching, professional development, and performance evaluations.\nWork Environment\nField settings and Specified Brooklyn ACS Offices.\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time, exempt position, Monday through Friday.
