Rising Ground is headquartered in New York City.\nRole Overview\nThe Talent Acquisition Associate supports the Human Resources department in carrying out programs and procedures for all Rising Ground employees, including sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, managing onboarding, responding to employee requests and questions, maintaining ATS and HRIS databases and personnel files, and supporting compliance and internal controls. As part of our People team, you’ll help us attract, hire, and retain the talent we need to achieve our vision.\nKey Responsibilities\nRecruitment & Sourcing\nSource, screen, interview, and support the onboarding of qualified candidates for entry-level roles across multiple departments.\nUse diverse recruitment strategies, including job boards, social media, networking, hiring events, and partnerships with community resources such as Workforce1.\nBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to support current and future hiring needs.\nCoordinate and participate in job fairs, career events, and other talent acquisition initiatives to promote organizational visibility and attract top talent.\nOnboarding & Candidate Experience\nDeliver a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process, from initial outreach through orientation.\nFacilitate onboarding activities for new hires, transfers, and temporary staff to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.\nCollaboration with Hiring Managers\nPartner with program leaders and hiring managers to develop job descriptions, job postings, and recruitment strategies aligned with organizational needs.\nOtherrelateddutiesasassignedbysupervisor.\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Communications.\nMinimum of 2-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or Human Resources.\nExperience participating in recruitment projects.\nProficiency in business software, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Google Apps, Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now a plus), or the ability to learn them.\nKnowledge of regulatory compliance and best practices.\nStrong problem-solving skills to resolve issues and troubleshoot as needed.\nAbility to stay focused and meet project deadlines.\nExcellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nSound discretion in handling highly confidential and sensitive information.\nAdaptable and a quick learner, with an aptitude for technology and a strong customer service attitude.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\n No\nWork Environment\nHybrid\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time hybrid position.
