This role coordinates onboarding activities, maintains HRIS and personnel records, supports compliance requirements, and responds to employee and supervisor inquiries. As part of the Human Resource Team, you’ll help ensure a smooth, accurate, and compliant onboarding experience for new employees.\nKey Responsibilities\nDeliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.\n\nCoordinate background checks, fingerprinting, and required employment clearances.\n\nManage onboarding for new hires, transfers, and temporary staff.\n\nCoordinate new hire appointments, paperwork, credential verification, and ID cards.\n\nCreate and maintain accurate, compliant employee files.\n\nConduct employee file audits to ensure required documentation is complete.\n\nMaintain accurate employee records and updates in ADP.\n\nSupport employees and supervisors with basic HR policy and procedure questions.\n\nBuild employer brand visibility through candidate-focused events and initiatives.\n\nReview employee documentation to ensure compliance with agency and funder requirements.\n\nAll other duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree preferred\n1-2 years of experience as an HR Assistant plus 1 year of experience in Recruiting\nAbility to work in a high-volume environment, including ability to balance priorities and meet important deadlines\nStrong attention to detail and follow through\nEffective communication and customer service skills\nBilingual Spanish preferred\nWork Environment\nCorporate Office\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time position. Monday through Friday.
