These sentiments capture why we choose Riskified every day. \nAbout the Role\n**This role will be based in Sydney**\nAt Riskified, we succeed when our merchants succeed. As a Solution Engineer in APAC, you'll play a key role in Riskified's growing product portfolio in the region, working closely with Sales and Account Management to bring new solutions to merchants across the region. You'll sell across our newer solutions, spot use cases and verticals where Riskified can add value, and turn early merchant conversations into repeatable plays for the wider team.This is a great entry point into Product Sales Specialist at Riskified: you'll build deep product knowledge, get hands-on with technical discovery and demos, and grow alongside a fast-expanding regional team.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nDrive deal progression for Riskified's newer products on opportunities sourced by Account Executives and Account Managers, across new logos and the existing APAC merchant base.\nPartner with Account Executives and Account Managers to understand merchant needs and lead the product-specific portions of the sales cycle.\nIdentify and qualify emerging use cases and new verticals, then help define the positioning, ideal customer profile and value story for each.\nShare ownership of a regional quota with your Sales counterparts, helping drive technical wins that turn into closed revenue.\nDeliver product demonstrations and answer technical questions from prospective and existing merchants.\nDesign and run proofs of value and pilots for new products, defining success criteria up front and turning results into a path to contract and a reference story.\nCollaborate with Product and Engineering to relay merchant feedback and regional market requirements.\nTurn early wins into repeatable assets, including talk tracks, discovery guides, ROI frameworks and case studies, so the wider go-to-market team can scale them.\nStay current on Riskified's expanding product portfolio and the broader payments/fraud landscape in the region.\nQualifications\n2-3 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Product Sales Specialist, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Support, or Implementation, ideally touching ecommerce, payments, or fraud.\nMotivated by results and comfortable in a role with quota or performance-based compensation.\nSolid technical foundation, including comfort with APIs and the basics of web/ecommerce architecture; willingness to go deeper quickly.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.\nA proactive, curious mindset - comfortable learning new products and asking good questions in ambiguous situations.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities across several merchant engagements at once.\nFluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.\nBased in Australia, with willingness to travel occasionally for merchant and internal meetings.\nIn The News\nReuters: General Atlantic-Backed Riskified is Valued at 4.3 BLN in NYSE Debut\nFoxBusiness: Fraud Protection Platform 'Riskified' Begins Trading on NYSE\nAnnouncing Riskified's $165M Funding Round\nFortune Magazine: 25 Best Workplaces in New York\nCalcalist: Riskified is the Most Promising Startup\nInc Magazine: Best Workplaces \nBuilt In NYC: 100 Best Workplaces\nTechCrunch: Riskified Prevents Fraud on Your Favorite eCommerce Site\nRiskified is deeply committed to the principle of equal opportunity for all individuals.
