When you join Arbon Equipment, you’re not just selling or servicing equipment - you’re building trusted partnerships with customers and growing your career with a company backed by the strength of Rite-Hite’s global innovation.\nA District Install Manager at Rite-Hite leads and oversees all installation operations within their district, directly supervising and managing a team of installers and support staff, while overseeing scheduling, quality/safety standards, and performance management to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and to customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement across district installation performance.\nReporting to the Install Director, the District Install Manager is part of the Global Service organization led by the EVP, Global Services. Employees are expected to contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration, and respect.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nSafety Responsibilities:\n· Support and promote a culture of safety.\n· Follow all Company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.\n· Proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)\n· Report hazards, near misses and incidents promptly\nJob Responsibilities:\nDirectly manage a team of installers and support staff, including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.\nCoordinate and manage installation schedules across the district to ensure timely completion of projects while balancing resource availability and customer needs.\nEnforce installation quality standards and safety protocols on all job sites, conducting inspections and audits to ensure adherence to company and regulatory requirements.\nOversee the customer experience throughout the installation process, addressing escalations and ensuring projects meet or exceed customer expectations.\nSet performance goals and expectations for installers, monitor productivity and quality metrics, and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.\nOversee labor costs, equipment, and material resources within the district to ensure installations are completed efficiently and within budget.\nCollaborate with sales, project management, and customer service teams to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment on project timelines and expectations.\nRegularly visit job sites to monitor progress, address issues in real time, and ensure installer teams are following best practices.\nIdentify opportunities to improve installation processes, efficiency, and team performance, implementing best practices across the district.\nIdentify skill gaps and coordinate ongoing training for installers to maintain high standards of technical competency and safety awareness.\n Education & Experience (Required)Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.\n 5+ years of experience in installation, construction, field service, or related industry. 2+ years of supervisory or people management experience, with a proven track record of leading teams.3\n\nCertifications/LicenseNone required for this role.\n\nKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesLeading, coaching, and developing installers and support staff, including performance management and conflict resolution.\nInstallation techniques, industrial dock/door systems, and OSHA safety regulations and standards.\nKnowledge of project management principles, scheduling methodologies, and budgeting/cost control for labor and materials.\nAbility to communicate effectively with customers, installers, and internal stakeholders while building strong cross-functional relationships.\nAbility to make sound decisions under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to shifting service demands and site conditions.\n\nPreferred Job RequirementsEducation & ExperienceExperience managing multiple projects or job sites simultaneously.\nIndustrial equipment, dock/door systems, or related product installation experience a plus.\n\nCertifications/LicenseNone\n\nKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesExperience mentoring or training service/install teams.\n\nDemonstrated success supporting complex, multi-stakeholder service opportunities\nRole Specific Compliance Requirements\nAbility to meet customer site access and safety requirements (if applicable)\nValid Driver’s License (if applicable)\nMust meet company motor vehicle record (MVR) standards (if driving is required)\nAbility to pass background check\nEligibility to work in the United States\nWork Location, Schedule and Environment\nWork Location: Designated regional hub (TBD)\nWork Environment: Office; frequent travel to customer locations, sales offices, and company facilities is required.
