PURPOSE: Lead the evaluation, architecture, integration, and maturation of multidisciplinary product systems and emerging technologies. Translate customer and business needs into system requirements, develop and evaluate system architectures, lead technical trade studies and proofs of concept, and prepare technologies for transition into NPD and other business initiatives. Lead cross-functional system architecture and technology-evaluation activities Develop technical maturation plans, TRL criteria, and proof-of-concept objectives Define system boundaries, architectures, interfaces, and performance requirements Conduct trade studies, risk assessments, feasibility analyses, and make/buy evaluation
