Coordinates the procurement of all raw materials, product components, labels, packaging materials and supplies to support efficient production processes. Ensures that production schedules for these projects optimize plant asset utilization, plant labor and customer demands.The Buyer/Planner is also responsible for the approval of invoices and backing-up other Buyer/Planners as needed.\nResponsibilities:\nCreate and manage RFQ/RFP including scope of work, review bid proposals and make recommendations based on results of quoting analysis.\nLeads sourcing, ordering and expediting of materials required to support non-commercial/development production, with support from Sourcing Manager, Engineering, and Technical Services teams.
