Responsible for the completion of operations on a daily basis to includes meeting the daily packaging output goals, ensuring that procedures are defined by SOP’s, employees are properly trained, and executing specific verbal directions from their direct leadership.\nResponsibilities:\nMaintain an operational knowledge of all packaging equipment and ancillary support equipment including control and communication devices used in the process.\nAssist in identifying areas for process improvements through analysis of daily operations and process review.\nAssist in identifying areas for health, safety, and ergonomic improvements through analysis of required tasks.\nAssist in Developing strategy for process improvements to include:Operational Specification\nAction Plan for implementation\nAnalysis of process improvement\nSupporting documentation as required \nCreating or revising Standard Operating Procedures to support the process improvement \nAssist in training programs\nMaintain tools & equipment required for packaging equipment \n\nAssist with, operational, and performance qualifications testing.\nAssist in evaluation of processes through SPC methods.\nVerify corrective actions that result from a non conformance.\nPerform defined preventive maintenance tasks at a daily and weekly level as defined by SOP. \nSupport maintenance technicians on communication and controls.\nFollow all SOP’s, safety and health guidelines and cGMP guidelines.\nDevelop daily packaging priorities to assure daily goals are accomplished, complete daily production log and attend daily production meetings as required.\nComplete ERP transactions for the packaging department.\nVerify material balance report & adjust inventories of packaging components as necessary.\nDevelop continuous improvement initiatives for key performance indicators.\nDevelop departmental personnel into high performing work teams.\nPrepare and setup the packaging line for each batch run according to the production order.\nMonitor the packaging line and support equipment during batch packaging.\nPerform process monitoring of the equipment - focusing on the primary equipment.\nMake necessary adjustments to the equipment and refilling of the packaging materials as needed.\nEnsure packaging line is supplied with the appropriate QC released materials according to the production order. \nEnsure the packaging line has been properly cleaned and line clearance performed at the end of each batch run and at the beginning of batch packaging.\nQualifications:\nPreferred 2 year Technical degree and a minimum of three years experience in operation of manufacturing processes, preferably in a high speed packaging environment.\n5-10 years of experience in a management role in a manufacturing environment preferred.\nMinimum 1 year employment with TRC in current position (internal candidates only)\nExcellent interaction skills with the ability to exercise initiative, to motivate, and direct production line employees. \nStrong oral and written communication skills.\nProficient in MS Office applications, ERP (EPICOR preferred), SPC tools (Mini Tab, Etc.)\nAbility to establish priorities and meet expectations with minimal supervision.\nAbility to lead and develop a team-oriented working relationship within the operation.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3444,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":5,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Education","Health Care","Generic Drugs"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-27T09:52:43Z"}],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":23,"reasons":["conf:16","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-09-28T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/ritedose-packaging-operations-supervisor","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/ritedose-packaging-operations-supervisor.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-29T00:44:34Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":643,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":4357,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-30T00:00:00Z"}}}
