The role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Intune, and related services.\nThe engineer will also support identity and access management, security and compliance, automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, Power Platform governance, and deployment of emerging Microsoft 365 capabilities such as Copilot. This position requires strong hands-on technical skills, troubleshooting ability, and the ability to work with business, security, and technical teams in a federal environment.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum 6 years of relevant IT experience, including hands-on Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration and engineering.\nStrong experience supporting Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business.\nExperience with Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, including SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, directory synchronization, and identity management.\nExperience implementing and supporting Microsoft security and compliance capabilities, including Microsoft Purview, DLP, retention policies, sensitivity labels, eDiscovery, audit logging, and information protection.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for device and application management, policy enforcement, and protection of corporate data.\nStrong PowerShell scripting experience for Microsoft 365 administration and automation.\nExperience with Microsoft Graph API and automated provisioning, licensing, or configuration tasks.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.\nExperience developing or supporting Microsoft 365 governance, security standards, SOPs, and technical documentation.\nStrong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.\nU.S. Citizen or permanent resident for more than 3 years.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nMaster’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n6+ years of overall IT experience, with progressively responsible Microsoft 365 engineering or administration experience.\nExperience planning or supporting Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, pilot deployment, governance, and broader adoption.\nAdvanced experience with Microsoft Purview, including DLP, sensitivity labeling, eDiscovery, retention, and information protection.\nExperience designing and implementing Microsoft 365 security and compliance controls in federal or other highly regulated environments.\nAdvanced PowerShell automation and Microsoft Graph API integration experience.\nExperience establishing Microsoft Power Platform governance and/or Center of Excellence (COE) practices.\nExperience with Microsoft Defender, Zero Trust principles, passwordless authentication, and advanced Conditional Access policies.\nPrior experience supporting federal government environments, preferably HHS or a similar civilian agency.\nExisting or prior Public Trust clearance.\nThe salary or salary range for this role reflects an estimated range informed by multiple compensation factors.
