We’re making remarkable progress and growing fast. \nAbout our new Maryland office\nWe are opening an office in Maryland to work more closely with the US government agencies, national laboratories and research institutions that are shaping the future of quantum computing. This role is one of our founding hires there. You will help establish Riverlane's presence in one of the densest concentrations of quantum research in the world, and have a direct hand in how we build the team, the partnerships and the programs that follow.\nAbout the role\nRiverlane’s overarching mission is making quantum computing useful sooner. To achieve this goal we need to provide future developers with tools and frameworks that enable great science. As for-profit company, open-source is an investment in our future: we want to grow the quantum community, help them learn this nascent technology and evolve it together. In this role, you will set our direction in this space, driving our open-source efforts, identifying the components that can be used by the community, building them either from zero or by adapting our internal toolboxes and finally disseminating their value.\nWhat you will do\nYou will be responsible for Deltakit, our open SDK, driving the teams that develop analysis tools, simulators, visualizers and core components. You will use your technical expertise to set priorities and directions in collaboration with our product team and in line with our business model, effectively shaping and building our products. You will interface with the internal developer community to understand and support them, as well as the global community.
