We’re making remarkable progress and growing fast. \nAbout the role \nRiverlane is looking for an experienced NetSuite Administrator & Developer to define, develop and administer one of the business-critical systems that keeps the company running. \nThis is a hands-on role combining day-to-day administration with development and continuous improvement. You'll keep our ERP platform stable, secure and well-configured, act as the senior escalation point for complex issues, and build the scripts, workflows and integrations that make NetSuite work harder for Finance, Operations and the wider business. \nAbout our NetSuite Environment\nWe are in the middle of a phased NetSuite implementation, and this role is central to owning and evolving the platform as it grows. You'll be joining as the environment is being stood up, giving you the opportunity to shape how it's run from the outset and ensure the environment has robust configuration, controls and data integrity. \nPhase 1: NetSuite OneWorld across multiple entities and currencies. Scope includes fixed assets, multi-book accounting, currency revaluation, intercompany eliminations, and consolidation. \nPhase 2: Expected to extend the platform with, Advanced Revenue Management for contract revenue recognition, and Inventory Management, including multi-location and serial-number tracking.\nKey Responsibilities\nAdministration & Configuration \nOwn the setup and configuration of NetSuite, including user roles, permissions, workflows and system preferences.\nKeep configurations aligned with business processes and compliance requirements.\nPerform routine maintenance, manage updates, and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability and performance.\nAct as the NetSuite subject matter expert, supporting the business, and provide training that helps end-users get the most from the platform in their daily work.\nMaintain data accuracy, integrity and security.\nManage segregation of duties within roles and permissions to support audit requirements.\nUse sandbox environments and managing NetSuite's twice-yearly release updates.\nDevelopment & Automation \nDesign, build and maintain custom scripts and workflows using SuiteScript, JavaScript and SuiteQL to automate tasks and improve efficiency.\nIdentify and implement process enhancements using native system capabilities.\nEnsure delivered solutions are fit for purpose, tested and documented.\nLeverage automations and integrations to enhance the usefulness of the ERP solution and productivity of Riverlane staff. \nReporting & Insights \nDesign and maintain dashboards and reports using native ERP reporting features.\nSupport data transformation and visualisation to inform operational and strategic decisions. \nSecurity & Compliance \nImplement and enforce security policies that protect sensitive business data.\nManage access controls and audit trails in line with standards such as ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials. \nCollaboration & Optimisation \nLead integration efforts between NetSuite and other business platforms.\nWork closely with Finance, Operations and other teams to translate business needs into system solutions.\nPartner with the IT management team on change requests and projects, delivering on time with documented testing and support materials.\nSupport the wider IT team with general issues to build overall team capacity. \n Requirements & Experience\nDeep, hands-on expertise administering NetSuite - configuration, customisation, migrations, maintenance and troubleshooting - ideally with 3+ years in a comparable role.\nProficient scripting across SuiteScript, JavaScript and SuiteQL.\nStrong data transformation and reporting skills.\nExperience working with financial data (required), and exposure to ERP implementations or phased rollouts (desirable).\nNetSuite certifications (SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or SuiteCloud Developer) preferred.\nSound understanding of data security, access control and compliance frameworks (ISO, Cyber Essentials).\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate finance requirements into NetSuite configuration and to work effectively across stakeholders (Finance, Operations) and technical teams (developers, integration partners).\nA customer-first attitude, strong project-management discipline, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nSelf-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team. \n What can you expect from us \nA comprehensive benefits package that includes an annual bonus plan, private medical insurance, life insurance, and a contributory pension scheme \nEquity, so that our team can share in the long-term success of Riverlane \n28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and enhanced family leave \nA diverse work environment that brings together experts in many fields (including software and hardware development, quantum information theory, physics and maths) and over 20 different nationalities \nA learning environment that encourages individual, team and company growth and development, including a regular programme of learning events and training and conference budgets \nHow to apply \nPlease upload a CV and covering letter by clicking 'Apply'.
