The ideal candidate will have several years of experience working with multiple technology vendors, methodologies, and approaches. Conducts and analyzes vulnerability scans (hosts and network) and performs network security threat/impact assessments. The candidate will report to the Chief Information Security Officer and will participate in daily operational needs as well as strategic projects for the health system.\nWhat you will do\nConduct and analyze vulnerability scans (hosts and network).\n\nPerform network security threat/impact assessments.\n\nOversee host-based security across the Health System to include: antivirus, HIPS, data loss prevention, and rogue system detection.\n\nRespond to malware reports and assist in implementing protective/anti-malware measures.\n\nEnforce computer and network security processes.\n\nConfer with management, technical staff, and end-users to define requirements for new systems and security infrastructure development.\n\nEnsure maximum uptime for Firewalls, Endpoint protection and VPNs.\n\nDesign highly secure infrastructure to ensure maximum uptimes and performance.\n\nQualifications\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED, (Required)\n\nBachelors Degree, Computer Science/Information Systems or related field (Preferred)\n\nExperience\n3-4 years Working knowledge of technical security solutions (Firewalls, NIDS, HIDS, SIEM, Endpoint Protection, Email Security, MFA, etc.) (Required)\n\n3-4 years Enforcing security policies, procedures and plans to safeguard data and systems from cyber attacks (Required)\n\n1 year Azure and/or AWS cloud experience (Preferred)\n\n2 years Broad technical security knowledge of networking, and Windows and Linux operating systems (Preferred)\n\n Skills and Abilities\nKnowledge of Internet security best practices\n\nGIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF) certification Preferred\n\nSystems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) Preferred\n\nLicenses and Certifications\nCompTIA Security+ -
