Position is a support function to assist loan officers move loan requests through the approval process.\nThe salary for this role will be between $77k-$111K a year. The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES:\nWorks with existing clients and prospects as required to receive information as needed.\nEnsures that the financial analysis prepared by the Analyst Team is accurate.\nAnalyzes financial spreads to determine if the loan requests meet Bank credit policy.\nPrepares credit memorandums, criticized/classified loan memos, and annual loan reviews in Credit Quest software program for lenders.\nWorks with the Team Assistant to collect all necessary documents needed by the loan documentation team.\nRequests preliminary title reports, environmental reports and appraisals as directed by the loan officer.\nAnalyzes borrowing base reports prepared by client and notifies loan officer of any discrepancies.\nEnsures timely and thorough monitoring of all credits through use of management reports such as Out of Compliance Report; Annual Loan Review Report; Delinquency Report and Maturing Loan Report.\nUnderstands and observes laws and regulations that relate to commercial lending.\n Additional duties and responsibilities. Other duties as may be assigned:\nProjects professionalism in both appearance and attitude when dealing with customers.\nCoordinates, when necessary, with other departments.\nParticipates in and completes all required training modules with passing scores.\nFollows all state and federal laws, and all Riverview policies and procedures \nRELATIONSHIPS:\nMaintain strong working relationship with Commercial Loan Team Leader and peers in the lending area as well as other support areas.\nMaintains contact with clients to ensure that service levels are appropriate.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor's degree in a business, finance or related field is preferred, 2 or more years of commercial lending support experience, strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of bank services, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nSKILLS:\nAbility to communicate with lenders and build strong working relationships.\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret business and personal financial statements and tax returns.\nAbility to understand bank lending policy and governmental regulations.\nAbility to prepare concise credit memorandums, annual loan reviews and criticized/classified loan memos that define the risk and financial condition of the borrower or prospect.\nAccurately analyze asset-based lending borrowing bases.\nAbility to effectively identify concerns or changes in financial position of borrowers and communicate to lending officer.\nAbility to work with mathematical and financial concepts such as global cash flow and other financial ratios that indicate the strength of a business or individual who borrows for business purposes.\nAbility to resolve with some assistance day-to-day problems and deal with a variety of issues that may arise in working with borrowers.\nAbility, with some assistance, to develop loan structure that protects the bank.\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\nBasic skills associated with the general use of computers and business office equipment including developing a good working knowledge of the Credit Quest lending system.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to effectively communicate via phone/video, messaging, and email.
